Amazing choice game, not really scary but still probably the most stressful game I’ve played
MILD SPOILERS
Only played through it once and the only spoilers I knew was Josh was the psycho, managed to keep Sam, Mike, Emily and Jessica alive
Character rankings
1. Emily (ICONIC. SLAYED. CARRIED. She was serving so much cunt in her voice lines that YouTubers were able to handle her back in 2015.)
2. Josh (the most interesting character, hope he gets more screen time in the remake, tho all I’m expecting for him is to get a solo ending since rami malek is probably super expensive)
3. Chris (he’s a silly goofy guy who gets out in a lot of interesting and stressful situations, loved playing as him)
4. Jessica (would hate her irl but she is just such a fun character who is pretty fleshed out in the amount of screen time. As much as I love these character I hope the movie goes with the Jess Solo ending, her being the only survivor is so ironic considerong the disappearance of the Washington sisters is basically her fault, but she is the only character that no matter what, never knows what actually is going on unless Matt is alive, and that idea just sounds HAUNTING.)
5. Ashley (came in expecting hate Ashley, but I find her to a really interesting character tbh! I love how depending on your choices she can either be just a bit of an overly curious coward that’s a sweetheart or the most insensitive and selfish character. Very weird how she is for some reason the only character besides Josh to not have a chase sequence??)
6. Sam (the most blandest female character in the game, could have been the most interesting considering she was Hannah’s best friend but instead she spent 2 hours in a bathtub and suddenly became the final girl)
7. Matt (I love Matt but he died so early in my Playthrough, there’s also just not much to him other than he’s a jock and Emily’s new boyfriend)
8. Mike (A well written unlikeable character, his santorian part is the most dragged out part of the game imo)

Ooo boy this is a hard one to talk about
Absolutely DOGSHIT in some areas, unfortunately, it’s MOST areas
First off the motive of the Origami killer makes so fucking sense at all
Second off, Half of Ethan Mars ‘trials’ or whatever you call it make so sense. Like why is there a car chase scene this is so fucking stupid
Third of, David cage can NOT keep his dick in his pants when it comes to Madison, girl actually has the flirty walk from the sims 4, constantly gets sexulized in every way possible and her insomnia becomes completely irrelevant and doesn’t seem to impact her by the end of the story (why make that apart of her character?? I’m sure Cage actually forgot she has that because of how busy he was masturbating to the god awful strip tease scene)
And don’t get me started on the fucking controls, I stopped for two days once I got up to the part where Madison is pick locking, AND THE VOICE ACTING BROOO 💀💀💀
It’s saving Grace is that all the protagonists are actually very interesting characters, ESPICALLY Norman. Norman unironically carries the whole game, he is by far the most fun and unique and is basically human Connor. I also love Blake and Lauren. Soundtrack goes hard to but it’s sometimes louder than the characters (also the audio is kinda trash)

Completed my 4th playthrough, this time I aimed to do every side mission and I think I did it, by the end, my most recent playthrough lasted 91 hours and I loved every second of it

I First played this back in 2020 on the ps4, always loved it but the bugs were (as everyone knows) atrocious and I really rushed it (only ever completed Panam and Judy’s storylines, and Kerry’s, but I played as femV so I don’t think I ever did the boat mission)
This time around tho? I loved every second of it. I love this depressing ass futuristic gta-like game. Like pretty much every single character, took my time (80 hours of my time actually) did basically every side quest that wasn’t a gig or boxing thing, and WOW. Easily has become one of my favorite games. The fact that my only complaints are how sometimes deceiving there dialogue choices are and the romance accepts of the game are kinda lacking is a pretty good thing considering just how MUCH their is in this game. Cannot wait to one day play the DLC.
