This game is awesome but is unfortunately completely redundant because of Like A Dragon 8.

I hope they continue to explore the cast of characters seen here. They shine at bringing the grittiness of the prior Yakuza games back into the series.

The actual gameplay is good but I really can't say I liked a single character lol.

loved this game so much I can't even describe what the plot is.

Shouldn't this be on Letterboxd?

Activision might be the only company that screwed up a remake so bad the first time and took almost another decade to finally fix it. With another $60 price tag, of course.

Also using the source code of the older games 15 years prior.

Honestly hated the game at first, as its slow-burn of a narrative and serious characters really took me out of the over-the-top characters that were found in the Yakuza series. But as I replayed the game i found myself really appreciating the themes of the narrative, introducing real-world events and serving as a social critique of Japanese society as a whole.

Yagami is a total hypocrite though.

This game is like what Cars 2 was to the first Cars

Don't know wtf happened here.
