What a blast! When I saw the trailer with its character control concept and catchy theme song I was hooked. This was the Mario adventure I had been waiting from. With homages to past games and planets of fresh ideas, this game hooked me and I didn’t want it to end. It is your typical save the princess story but the adventure is worth it. Each level feels like it’s own. Each with its own environment, soundtrack and world specific characters. Your goal is to get enough moons to get to the moon and face King Bowser. Each world is packed full of moons. They are found in puzzles, boss encounters, or sometimes in plain sight! Some of these moons aren’t intuitive to find. After the game is beaten so much is unlocked. This game is worth full price. You get so much content. A true classic in the switch era.
