Just an amazing game, addictive as hell with a killer soundtrack, lots of content, good challenges with great plot and character moments with Rance being the evilest but also the kindest he's ever been so far. This game is full and felt of the passion and love of the developers while making this. It made me want to have a kalar family, 10/10

Very solid game all around, with the 2023 patch by TADA (found in the alicesoft english wiki) it's a pretty fun and balanced game, with the best plot so far and Sill having more of a main role compared to previous entries. Rance is still fun as hell and the translation for this game in particular is pretty amazing. The party members are wack though like Julia is complete garbage even if you get her to train and Merim just does absolutely nothing. Play it with a walkthrough as per usual with Rance games.

Great revenge story with an amazing soundtrack (made by the same studio that made Saya no Uta's), the extensive descriptions of swordmanship in the middle of fights and the actions and attitude of the Protagonist can be very divisive. Also this is an eroge technically so it has h-scenes (one very early on). Just keep in mind that this is a dark tale that has no problem showing bad characters doing very bad things. But all in all a nice 7 hour-ish experience that entertains all the way through with a great depiction of obssesion and truly living for and by the blade.

Absolute masterpiece of a story, beautiful endings on all of the routes and great art, music and features for a vn.
Also even though this page is for the original release play the Realta Nua version for the amazing voice acting and the cute Last Episode.

Absolute peak, best route of the three (though UBW is close) thanks to the best art, music and prose the game has to offer. An extremely endearing cast and one of the best protagonists ever. also Kirei is litterally me

Atmospheric masterpiece as far as visual novels go, from the writing and great prose from Urobuchi to the amazing soundtrack and sound design. Some parts of the plot could be better though and the endings did not click with me too much. Short and sweet still, great visual novel for beginners in the medium and also play the uncensored version (found as Director's Cut on GOG) to get the full story, raw and disturbing as it was meant to be.
A game full of charm and originality with an amazing sountrack that I haven't heard anything like. Only problems is a kinda shallow (but still funny and full of Rockstars campy writing) story and it has some of the jank that Rockstar had in the 2000s. Still a timeless classic and there is litterally no game like it
Peak story and you WILL cry. The only negatives are that i think it couldve had a bit more CGs to make more of an impact like later routes and also Shirou leaves a bit to be desired compared to the other routes. Also yeah exposition boohoo prepare to spend your life watching Rin and Saber talking in front of a table for hours on end.
Kino protagonist and Archer is literally best husbando also Shirou's old design is better than his ufotable/FGO ugly hair. it made me want more weapons in stock 10/10
Surprisingly good game, it has the better gameplay out of the first 3 games imo (counting the remakes) since it plays more like an actual rpg. The plot is the best so far and the visual presentation, while obviously dated and somewhat unpolished since this IS a Doujin game, was actually pretty nice and has a certain old school charm to it. Haven't played the remake since I don't know japanese so I can't speak on that but in my experience this is an enjoyable game even if you only played 01 & 02.
Nice plot, great CGs and an actually original and challenging combat system, but the progression via doing wacky actions (this game is probably unbeatable without a walkthrough, use the one in the alicesoft wiki) and the constant backtracking for saving, healing, grinding and questing burnt me out. Rance does some really heinous, hilarious things, he carries the game.
Good game with beautiful art and the gameplay is passsable if you use the skip button (AltGr) for grinding and while moving in the dungeons. Also you have to use a guide if you don't want to waste time but at least its more doable without one unlike 01. An impressive quantity of CGs for its length also
CJ is an extremely KINO protagonist and the gameplay loop is AMAZING, 100% completed and I don't regret a THANG GYATT DAYUM SON
