Well written review Weatherby! I only played the demo and just wasn't feeling what was there but your notes here just push me from trying it at all. Maybe if it's a PS+ game down the line. I feel this is just one piece in a long list of why Square Enix just don't make games that interest me anymore and it's sad.

Mega Man Network Transmission is in a way the perfect game. It masterfully weaves the excellent narrative of Battle Network with the pinnacle of 2D sidescrolling greatness. Before I played this game I lived in crippling depression and couldn't even muster up the strength to go outside. After playing this game I have 17 different wives and am the CEO of my own company making more money than Elon Musk has in his entire life, per minute. I am the almighty gigachad and I owe it all to Network Transmission.

I really liked it at release. I played it at the PS3 launch and had a good time. The visuals were gorgeous and I liked some of the weapons a lot. I haven't played it since though so who knows how it's aged.
