Hopefully the lowest this franchise ever sinks.

Wish they didn’t have a phone.

Actually kinda innovates the formula a decent bit. Too bad the game is nearly unplayable with how laggy and unpolished it is.

The start of remakes not improving the originals.

Very interesting ideas, just so many of them are half-baked. I wish a third version was released that fully realized this region, as I feel like people would appreciate Kalos more if they had.

This is barely a game, and mine got destroyed in the washing machine.

The definitive Pokémon game. Everything in Platinum is in this game, except even more is here. More Pokémon, longer postgame with even more to do. Unfortunate that the Kanto region is pretty barebones, and super underleveled.

This game is the reason people like gen 4. None of the other third versions improve the originals to the extent this game does. Incredible postgame, much better Pokémon throughout the whole game, more interesting gym order, more available legendaries, even the watch games are better.

Has really poor Pokémon distribution, dreadful postgame after Emerald, and really obnoxious beginning. The region is pretty cool though.

Improves everything about R/S, especially the postgame.

Improves the game boy originals in every way, incredible.

This game is too hated nowadays. The bugs rarely come into play in a regular playthrough, Kanto is still one of the best designed regions, and the Pokémon are simple, but fairly charming. The biggest thing this game lacks is a postgame of any kind, but they barely do that in any Pokémon game anymore anyways.
