This has the best open world in any open world game ever (very closely contested by BotW), astonishingly good sidequests, some nice but mostly underdeveloped characters (though that's not the point of the game), completely forgettable villains aside from the traitor, a fun but incomprehensible battle system and a pretty good story (if incredibly incomplete, whens X2 huh Mono, it's been 5 years).

I'm giving it a 5/5 mainly based on Nostalgia, I haven't played it since it came out, but it was my first Xenoblade and I adored it. If it gets ported to Switch, which I really, really hope it does, my score might decrease a little bit, but I'm almost certain I'll still love it.
