It’s battleship. Presentation is nice, but the AI cheats haha. Still an enjoyable time. Can’t be mad at something like this at all.

There's no way. I thought you guys were all joking, but no it's actually THAT bad! RIP

One of the best soundtracks of the year, no doubt. Pretty visuals, and an all around fun time.

Unfortunately I don’t see this game having any staying power whatsoever. It’s perfectly average, but beyond a fun afternoon I don’t see this game offering much to come back to.

If the first game was like a flash game you’d find on Kongregate, the second game is what those same developers would make after the flash game gets really popular and they’re told to make that same game but with a budget. This game is an actual game. Its structure, controls and level design are significantly improved, and the difficulty has been ramped way up. Still only really notable for being an easy plat, but there’s an actual game here and I kinda respect it.

Feels like the kind of flash game you’d play on Kongregate after a long annoying day at school. Better than it has any right to be given what it is and why most people are playing it.

I tear up every time I think about this game. The memories I have with this game are something I will cherish for the rest of my life. I feel so lucky to have grown up with this game and the soundtrack is genuinely beautiful but it has just been outclassed by plenty of other MMO's throughout the years. Still a phenomenal game, but a game better left in my memory.

My biggest problem with this game is that to me it's really lost a lot of that "open world" magic that has always carried Bethesda titles. No more "See that mountain in the distance? You can go climb it." No more walking to your next main quest and getting distracted by the 20 side quests and random caves and enemies that you find along the way. All of that has been replaced with randomly generated empty planets, with the same 4 structures placed on them, on separate planets that you can only get to after 4 separate loading screens. No more emergent gameplay at all. No more exploration. And for me, that's a deal breaker.

Ship building is super cool tho. Best feature for sure. I just wish we could use our ship in atmosphere or space more. As it stands your ship is pretty pointless.

The Finals is a bombastic and refreshing team based shooter by a lot of former Battlefield devs and you can absolutely tell. The destruction in this game is not window dressing, it is a core gameplay mechanic as important as aiming and shooting or moving around the map. The 3v3v3v3 format leads to a lot of chaos, but the chaos is manageable with the various classes and their abilities/equipment and the game really emphasizes teamwork while still being extremely fun and lighthearted. Honestly this game really surprised me with how much I love it, I just really hope the future for this game is as bright as this launch has been!

This game was clearly rushed, but still they were able to take the foundation set by MWII last year, and improve it in every metric (except for the campaign, which is the least important part of a COD game anyways)

Listening to player feedback and fixing the perk system, and movement, and mini map and all the other stuff they did makes this game play like a dream, and bringing back the 16 best multiplayer maps ever made is exactly what I wanted. Feels like the game was made for me specifically, but I have to be honest and take some points off for the weak campaign, and innovative but hollow Zombies experience. In my opinion, however, the Multiplayer is one of the best in the entire series and is only going to get better throughout the year as it gets even more content.

Crazy to think by the end of the year this game could have well over 140 guns and 40 multiplayer maps. I guess we'll see.

Only Up! isn't a bad game. It's just a very cheap (and arguably lazy) game. The whole thing is put together with any random UE asset they could get their hands on, copyright be damned, to create a moderately frustrating rage bait game.

It functions, and has some fun speed running tech, but we've absolutely seen this type of game done better elsewhere and with significantly more care put into it.

Proof that more games need to focus less on realistic graphical fidelity, and just make a fun game!

Genuinely one of the most fun indie shooters out there. Massive maps with just about 250 players, yet it all feels so seamless and well put together. A nice mix of arcadey and sim gameplay, high emphasis on teamwork, and just an overall fun atmosphere makes this one of the most solid FPS launches in recent memory!

More of the same, some minor improvements, some changes for the sake of change. Overall better than 2K22 for sure! The weird shot timing seems to have been fixed, MYCAREER is marginally more interesting. My main issue is the performance when not actually playing basketball. Every other mode is locked to 30FPS, and you're lucky to be hitting even 20 when walking around the city. Game runs and looks like ass. Thank god this game was free.

While I definitely did not enjoy this game nearly as much as the masses seemed to, there is one thing I really did appreciate. The world. I think this world is really fascinating and this game gives us a good jumping off point for really exploring this world and how everything works. Just the concept of robot dinosaurs is already hype, but the spin they take on it in this game is welcome. Is this game revolutionary? No, not at all. It is, however, a good start to a new IP that I'm excited to see the future of.

Genuinely one of the worst games I've ever played. Honestly just baffled at how one of the best studios in the industry could waste away 5 years working on this travesty. It just doesn't make sense.

Honestly this is probably the best remaster Nintendo has ever done. It's either this or Wind Waker HD, but at least this game actually costs LESS than it did originally.

What more can I say about Metroid Prime that hasn't already been said by a million other people? It's a phenomenal game in an already phenomenal series and has been remastered beautifully. Now we just hope that the other 2 games get the same treatment.
