A game that LOOKS like it's from 2012. It is thankfully much more grounded in what the original Wipeout set out to do making for a very fun experience.

Simple yet great looking HD collection of 3 decent Wipeout games. Happy it exits yet doesn't do much for the franchise.

I boot up Ape Escape,
I see monkey,
Neuron Activation.

This felt more refined than Twisted Metal 1 for sure, though I still couldn't get past the controls. The vibe of this game makes it feel like something that would've came out 5 years later. Definitely ahead of its time in terms of visual/audio presentation.

I'm glad that car controls standardized away from whatever the control scheme for this game is. It's like Halo's but really rough. What a great snapshot of 1995 though.

Despite seeing this game everywhere I somehow managed to go into it blind and was surprised to see it was a heist game. Fun gimmick, though it got old a little quickly.

It was better than XY. Although UNREASONABLY linear. At least give me the illusion of adventure.

Earth Defense Force meets Metal Gear Solid V meets Lost Planet meets ??? idk but fun game. Now I need 343 to yoink this and stick the ODST banner on it.

The sound bite game is funny as hell for no reason

Fibbage about you is a goated party game when everyone knows each other well.

Strong end to the DLC section of Gen 9. Mochi Madness Epilogue was also a quaint book-end to the adventures on all 3 regions. The terrarium was easily the most interesting area to explore in the entire game, as well as the challenge of a new high-level League to take on was super welcome. I don't think this DLC fixes any shortcomings the base game presents but it definitely refines a lot of what the base game did right, making it equally as memorable if not the slightly more enjoyable Arc.

Ogrepon is a great legendary and I like the addition of Carmine and Kiki. The story was serviceable and Kitakami has some decent areas. Overall it's the definition of middling.

Much like the other Neal.Fun games, a quirky time waster whose value teeters on whether it lets you waste time at work/school or not.

Crappy gacha game with decent art. More of a time waster than TikTok.
