2017

This was way better than I expected it to be at the end. It was a bit overwelming at points, with the story not really showing its cards until the very end, but its all worth it. Also, the quality of the game is extremely high, this is the most polished "immersive sim", probably. 10/10

The bad presentation on some aspects dosent take away the value of all the positive aspects. The world is gorgeous, the narrative is good, everything feels alive.
If bad facial animations hurt the experience so much, damn, i guess every single game before Half Life 2 is bad them?

the game kinda drops the realistic tone at the end but its still very good, they should have focused more on the war instead of the "AI Planes" stuff.

started promising but ended kinda mid

I remember really liking it but it was so long ago, it came free with my pc after our Windows XP finally gave its last breaths and we bought a new computer.

This game was soooooo sick. I must have played a thousand times. But I remember how UNFAIR it was. Enemies came out of nowhere in the shadows, it was impossible to win whitout knowing beforehand where they would come from.

Made me want to visit bolivia. Story really drops the ball at the end. And of course, american game, american exceptionalism, instead of showing the real situation of our america, the state collaborating with the cartel, they show the cartel as the state, and the people who resist them as "just as bad, because they are also violent".

Best game trailer ever made

Gameplay overshines the dissapointing ending. Its almost addicting, and it offers and experience like no other.

I didnt play the two previous games, this explains the 4.5 stars. As the end of a trilogy, i can see how it can dissapoint fans of the previous 2 games, but as a standalone game. Wow

Maybe one day i'll finnish but holy shit this was a major downgrade, they took the level design of 1 and just threw it into a trash compactor. Some levels are ok, some are just HORRIBLE.

The guns feel SO GOOD to shoot, and the nazis too, like, it just feels amazing to unload on the crackers and seeing them die. But this dosent carry the game trouhg the awful history, dialogue and the weird hub world which gets boring too quickly. Game is also stupidly easy, you get too powerfull too quickly and nothing ever manages to catch up to you.

2013

10 years later, after so many attemps to dethrone dayz, no other "dayz killer" managed to win. That still dosent justify the price and the eternal beta stage.

The worst last mission in gaming history, completely ruins the rest of the decent-ish camapaign. Multiplayer was very good, tough. UPDATE So I decided to use cheats to at least see the ending, and lol. I guess EW, the bonus mission, is interesting to play, but they really dropped the ball when they added the strategy elements to the campaign.
