Still no busty plague doctor mod. Fuck the Eye boss

Maybe the real hee was the ho we made along the way

From my few runs of play, what I quickly realized is this game does a very poor job in displaying and communicating the information about your farm. Be it output of crops being relegated to a setting that is off by default, the multi-level menus you have to go down to find out basic information, to the visual explanation of the impacts of an items placement. Playing this game feels like a chore.

Also, I did not enjoy how it handles the use of cards. Functionally, you get rewards every couple of in game turns/days that give you a certain number of one card. Those cards you get are finite and once used are removed from the deck. The problem for me though was especially early on you run through cards so quick that there feels like there is absolutely no reason for this to be a deck builder because you have no deck let alone a full hand that has variety in it. When the core mechanic is poorly executed then that would explain why I had such a poor time.

The concept of placing structures, crops, animals, etc that interact with each other to reach a certain gold count by a deadline sounds like a simple but interesting concept you can do some fun things with. Doing this via a deck builder I think was either just a wrong call, or executed in a manor that doesn't work. I think a great example of this is Luck be a Landlord in how you can mix RNG with resource generation where each resource or tool interacts with each other in a unique way.

I play this whenever I'm eating lunch at my desk.
It's not very good.
The game, I mean.

A one-of-a-kind rougelite with fantastic atmosphere, visuals, audio and design. Everything in this game is very cohesive and really makes for a great experience overall.
After you've beaten this challenging game, there's a lot mods out there. Some are giant projects which aim to be an expansion to the game with more bosses, items, characters and whatnot, whereas other mods are small QoL fixes.
Also there's an abundance of porn/hentai mods. I don't know why, but there's a lot. I'll admit, some of these are pretty nice.

Couldn't find any other game in this genre which can replicate this experience.
My monkeybrain loves it when numbers go up and progress gets made, and this game has a very good balance of that.
There's also an active modding scene, with tons of map expansions and new stuff to do, but personally I didn't like them as much as the base game experience.
This is one of those 'itch' games - a game I want to relpay every year.
Can't recommend enough!

Very fun to play! Did several playthroughs, even did some casual speedrunning. It's got a fun and active modding scene too.
Soundtrack's godlike too, been blasting it daily since the game released.
Can't recommend it enough to people who are into the genre, or even those who aren't.

this fucking game became my personal "oh but it's not as bad as that..."

theres 2 scenes in this game where the main character fantasizes about killing children he has never met

The best game of the original trilogy by far. I think this is where the characters reach their natural conclusion, and it's a fitting finale to the entire series.

Plus, the mysteries are at the best they've ever been, and the overarching story is so damn gripping. The villain is such a bastard and seeing her go down is so satisfying. Godot is also the best prosecutor.

Segismundo el robamagia asola demacia

I will only say 3 things:
- Talking flowers are the most funny thing ever
- Fuck the rythm special level
- Caco Gazapo GOAT

This should be used to diagnose adults with autism. It'd easily be better at that than getting some psychologist to administer you tests designed for children.

If this came out in the early 2010s era of Youtube there would be so many fan animations saying that the Wonder Flowers are actually Super Mario smoking weed
