Doom on acid. Gameplay and movement is super fun and satisfying. Each of the levels are super creative and different. Game is still technically in early access, but I'm very excited for the last part of this game to be released.

The environments were cool and the lore was interesting, but the climbing controls are genuinely terrible and so unfun. I made it to the middle of chapter 2 before I gave up.

Deadass I was engaged from start to end. The core gameplay is really fun, the atmosphere is incredible, the overall goal is good enough, the artstyle is great, and overall it was more fun than I thought it would be. I beat this one in about 7 hours in one day lol

Visually beautiful and the audio design is great, but this game is slow and boring. I also really disliked the black bars that tried to make the game seem more cinematic. It is really distracting. Its just not for me i guess

Fun platforming and a nice message, but incredibly short.

(this review features my opinions and experience. Also I have finished Ghostrunner 1 before playing this)

Don’t know what happened between the first game and this, but this took all the fun out of this series and only made it frustrating. I got to the 8th level before I had enough. The controls are weird and unnatural. I don’t remember if the first game had this issue. Aside from that, the character models before the mission look really unnatural and don’t match their voices. Was going to try and power through this one, but I had zero interest in continuing.

The gameplay is so fun. I’m someone who doesn’t really like roguelikes, and yet Hades had me invested. Each run felt special because of the different items you could get to help you, the different runs were great, and the soundtrack is awesome, and I loved the artstyle. Definitely worth your time, even if you don’t like roguelikes.

Ahhhh. My favorite well-type game.

In all seriousness, this is a really creative puzzle platformer/metroidvania. The puzzles are pretty cool and for being a metroidvania (a genre I tend to struggle with), I only had to look up a walkthrough for one puzzle. The artstyle is fantastic and unique, the soundtrack is cool, and the overall world is great. I wasn’t a huge fan of that final chase sequence because if you die you have to start it all over again, but everything else was pretty cool.

Like Iron Lung, this game is really fun, with weird buildup. Also like Iron Lung, this game's ending made me audibly shout. Iron Long is definitely better, but this was still a fun short horror game.

Definitely not a bad game, but it's not for me.

I like the concept and I like the gameplay for the most part. But there are too many ridiculous difficulty spikes and the map is super confusing. I understand that from a narrative perspective, this makes sense. But it’s not super fun to play through, and I eventually decided that it wasn’t worth my time.

This is a really fun game. The art direction is super trippy and very stylish. The story is… there, but it’s easy to tune out. And the gameplay is unique and figuring out the puzzles is very fun. But like most puzzle games (at least for me), towards the end the puzzles become too “advanced” for me and I end up looking up how to solve them. Still a great 3 hour experience.
