A stellar glimpse into Dragon Quests' past and future. The combat is fantastic, the characters are quite memorable,
and the premise definitely makes it stand out from other Dragon Quest games. It definitely feels like one of the longer Dragon Quest games, though. So bare that in mind if you're looking to pick this up. But like I said in another review, even the worst Dragon Quest game is still a great game.

Honestly really solid, but it can get boring as fuck if you don't try and go for breaking the ground and chaining enemies together. If you go for the groundbreaking (no pun intended) gameplay, then it's a blast. Definitely worth checking out on NSO.

Thank you, Mr. Sakamoto!

If you're really into visual novels and detective games, Famicom Detective Club is exactly what you want. It kept me going until the very end both times, and had me speculating right along with the protagonist. This game definitely deserves the reputation it has, and if you like anything like Ace Attorney or Danganronpa this is worth picking up.

If it's not your kinda thing I wouldn't recommend it, of course. But it's a prime example as to why this genre works. I expected it to be shorter, but it was the perfect length.

The presentation is basically an interactive anime, and I'd love to see it adapted to that medium, or even another game. It's never too late for a 3rd chapter to the Famicom Detective Club.

It's a solid title, but it's got its issues.

One is that there should be an offline mode, being online all the time is not a good idea. I would love to take this out with me and do a round of Soccer or Tennis with CPUs.

Another one is that the sports only have a single mode. I would love to play a regular bowling match, instead of elimination. Or a regular Tennis match instead of a tiebreaker mode. Hopefully that's something coming down the line.

Nintendo shouldn't have used a post-launch drip feed approach with this game, but it is what it is. I'm gonna hold onto this and pick it up from time to time after they put up new item sets and sports. But what's already present is pretty good, definitely recommend it if you've played previous Wii Sports titles.

A solid solid fighter that does not fuck around. The CPU will rush you and not hold back for a second right out of the gate. As someone who's not into Power Rangers, it was still rather enjoyable, mostly because the gameplay is very MvC-like in terms of setup, style, and execution. Definite recommend, but this is not a beginner-friendly game. Fair warning.

Definitely a cult classic for a reason. The controls can be frustrating, as well as so many BS things that can be thrown at you at once. It's a good game, but it definitely has its place on the back shelf. Not front and center.

This is pretty nice DLC. It gives you more lore about Bugsnax, gives you more interpersonal drama between 2 different islanders, more Bugsnax to catch, and a proper final boss. Not to mention the new request system and finding Bugsnax with hats which definitely helps pad out the game more. Honesly curious if there's gonna be more to Bugsnax as time goes on. Are we actually gonna get a series from Young Horses instead of weird 1 off ideas fleshed out into a game? Who can say. Either way, I'm in.

Just like Octodad, it's a freaky as shit game whose style I don't believe could be replicated elsewhere. It's a good time, but definitely not perfect. Definitely worth giving a look if you're interested on premise alone.

Yeah, it was pretty good, although average. It's short, but brings back a nice blend of Final Fight and Streets of Rage. I haven't ever played a Beat 'em Up with guns before this, and it was implemented rather well! The characters were pretty generic though, wasn't too crazy about them. I'd say get it on a sale, and only if you're a fan of the genre. This isn't the kinda game that will convince you to get more into beat 'em ups.

It was enough of a masterpiece where I felt like double dipping, but Tetris Effect in VR is mind blowing. Genuinely astounding to witness for yourself. I'd say that the game is worth it just on theater mode alone.

Considering this was RGG's first story expansion, they knocked it out of the park. The story is solid, the new fighting styles really fit well into the Yakuza style, and the climax is brutal. Probably one of the most raw climaxes in the whole series. If you own Lost Judgment, you should definitely pick this up, full stop.

It's a calming game where you just sort. It's a rather simple concept that it's a nice cool down to the day. It's also fun to infer what the owner and their bf/gf are like based on the stuff they have. Happy to have nailed it in the end.

A very very solid tactical strategy game that felt like Sega's answer to Fire Emblem. This game absolutely does not fuck around, even on easy. Admittedly the 1st game is more balanced, but this is still some hype shit. Make sure to make friends with the snipers, because they will be your friends for the entire game.

It's cute, it's inoffensive, it's a relaxing time waster. Admittedly it is buggy and erased my save file and crashed on me multiple times. But at the very least I can say I've played worse games like this.

It was pretty cute, I'm very impressed how they got so much out of such a simple concept. I'd like to see what the team does next, hopefully it won't be as shallow or meme-y as it was here.
