I had high hopes...but, they kinda blew it!

Don't get me wrong: the game offers some fun, and it is nice to see the Snow Bros. back.

But the art style looks weird, and the added levels are (at least to me), frustratingly hard. Not because they are challenging, but because they feel unfair.

Disappointing. The Snow Bros. deserved better!

I was hyped for this one...but, as of today, I think is one of the worst games I have played on Game Pass.

It has so many flaws: it's repetitive, it has some ugly visuals, the variety of enemies is disappointing... I got to level (or episode) 7, and I saw on internet that it was close to 20 levels! When I stopped playing this, I thought I was close to the ending. I wasn't close to the middle of the game!

As I have tried on the sub, I dropped it. I felt I was wasting my precious gaming time on something I wasn't enjoying.

Sad, as it had potential.

I may be back soon to write more on this review...but, this one is a great surprise, I must admit.

It is a nice little throwback to the days of old, where you can get your kicks out of a 12-18 hours game and be happy with the time spent on it (unlike the "bloated" open world formula of recent years).

Fun, with a great art direction, memorable and charming characters and a nice balance between story (even if a little lightweight) and gameplay.

And, as a nice bonus, it released mostly flawless on day one.
