I put this game off for years because I thought it was some hipster game but no this game is truly beautiful. The atmosphere, hidden themes, subtle sounds, and pacing was great. It’s short and sweet and not filled with any extra fluff that detracts from the progress. I played this game when I was feeling pretty lonely and it weirdly felt like I went on a quest with a friend.

A great improvement over the first game and was pretty enjoyable all the way through. I felt like it did drag on a bit but not as bad as 3. Cool set pieces and environments with fun characters. Also not a whole lot of Drake falling down which felt weird.

I wonder if I played this at release it would’ve felt better but the controls just felt so off in many ways. The gunfights were awful but I felt like they were never the best in any of the games. The stages and set pieces were really cool and pretty though. If you’re going through the series I still think it’s worth playing as it had some fun sections. Also Drake quit falling pls.

A fairly short dlc that had some fun gameplay differences from Remake. I found Yuffie fun to play and the mini games to be enjoyable. This makes me hope for something with Vincent one day.

Probably the Uncharted I liked the most. I feel like Drake constantly falls in these games and in this title it’s so damn often like wtf. Of course this being out around the time that Sony was going for more cinematic experiences and I felt like this game did that really well. I’m not the biggest fan of this series but I thought this was fun.

Playing this as a kid I thought the visuals and atmosphere were amazing. Having fully finished all these years later I still think this game does so stuff well. The combat system is unique and surprisingly never got old to me and made me engage more with the systems in place. The story is good and has some really great parts. While I feel like there are RPGs on the console I like a lot more, I still think this is a game that should be experienced at least once.

Played this with my wife and we had a good time. It was a lot longer than we thought which was fine but there were some parts that kind of dragged on. I think A Way Out might have a better pacing then this but I felt like overall this was a bit more fun to play than that.

A cute and cozy game with top down Zelda combat and some town upgrades thrown in. It was pretty simple and I didn't run into any trouble with the combat at all though it did get repetitive. The story had a message behind it which was nice but I felt like the story was very much in the background compared to the rest of the things you could do in the game. There is a slight grind for resources to upgrade the town but nothing exhaustive.

This was a blast to play co-op and Bowser's Fury was cool too. The difficulty curve is so good in this as by the time we were getting to the end it felt like we had mastered the game(storywise, not the hard stages). If you like Mario and want a co-op game I think this is a must.

A fantastic story even with the later half changing the pace a bit. I loved my time with this game, everything about it was just so different than the other jrpgs at the time. The gear fights to the heavy religious themes it was unique. This game treats your companions with respect and gives them the spotlight here and there in ways you can better understand them and what they stand for, another thing you sometimes don't see in the genre.

I love the look of sprites in a 3D world a lot and is the reason why I love this gen's jrpgs so much. The music is great and I really liked the battle system a lot. It's a shame this isn't easily available to the masses as I think it's a story many should experience.

A pretty simple and straight forward game with a story that absolutely wrecked me. Rearranging the ship was fun and I didn’t mind some of the repetitive stuff that I know would annoy some people. If you want to cry and get cozy I recommend this one.

After Until Dawn this one was a bit of a let down. I first played this by myself and didn’t enjoy it a whole lot but after replaying it with a friend it got a LOT better. At times goofy it was fun to make fun of. It’s not the worst in the series but is pretty low on my list for Supermassive Games.

With its beautiful art style and its enjoyable combat system I really liked Eastward. The characters were likeable and the world was cool. I did feel like the game went on a bit longer than it needed to be but otherwise I really liked this one!

A cozy game that did environmental storytelling well. From the small photos following her life to the little differences in spaces you put things I was kinda surprised by it. It’s short and sweet and great if you need to relax. Otherwise there’s not much else to it, if you can play it on the cheap I recommend!

A cute a simple game that is a fun little time waster. Nothing too crazy about it but I liked the game overall.
