RATING: Great

Very well-crafted shooter with tons of ways to pull off cool tricks and a very nice variety of enemies and boss battles, combined with an art style that's pleasant to look at. The amount of options at your disposal and the ways your weapons interact with each other can get kind of overwhelming at times though

RATING: Great

This game is canon

RATING: Good

Definitely not to everyone's tastes and the grapple takes some getting used to, but at the same time you also get to make dollar-store-Hitler's head explode

RATING: Hazy

Not a bad game, just not super memorable

RATING: Hazy

I beat this game, yet I remember nothing of it.

RATING: Hazy

Literally the only thing I remember about this game is that I purchased it for 27 cents

RATING: Hazy

Desperately needed some more content to keep the experience fresh - the core gameplay is nice, but it gets repetitive quick. It's almost a good game, but frustratingly not quite.

RATING: Pass

This game just isn't for me. I've tried getting into it like three times by now, but I just can't, the core gameplay just does not feel satisfying for me personally, something about it just feels way too sluggish and not as exciting as its contemporaries at the time felt

This game is here to silence the voices in my head, and for that it serves its purpose

RATING: Good

Kind of a hidden gem, to be honest. The execution isn't where it could have been, but it's a charming experience that does something genuinely cool for its finale

RATING: Love and Hate

"We have Iconoclasts at home"

I wanted to like this game since I liked Gato Roboto, and using the gunbrella is super fun (especially the aerial movement), but the level design doesn't really take advantage of its full potential and the boss battles except for like one in the mid-game and two near the end are either uninteresting or painfully unfun. If it just got some more love and care, it could have been something great

RATING: Pass

I feel like this game is absolutely bloated with content and it's quite frankly overwhelming, and the game doesn't feel tightly designed and satisfying enough for me to want to see all that content

RATING: Love and Hate

The shipbreaking mechanics are fun to interact with, but good lord this game needs a "Skip Cutscene" button because they feel pretty damn intrusive and aren't written well enough to be forgivable, please stop locking my controls for ten minutes at a time to lecture me about labor unions when I already think they're a good thing

RATING: Love and Hate

Got pretty far in the game, but it just wasn't doing enough to hold my interest, which is a shame as I quite liked the original. It feels like it improves on the original, but the writing feels weaker and the challenges feel less engaging and more annoying.

RATING: Doubt

It's just not compelling enough to keep my interest with its literal-and-intentional hostile design, and it never really got more interesting despite doing playing through the game's levels. Kinda feel like the game was advertised as more than it was
