Persona 3 Reload is a remake that I have been looking forward to since its announcement, and it has not disappointed me in my hours of play.

Story: The story hasn't changed much since its original release, changing only subtle details and sometimes giving a little more context in some aspects. Kotone has not been added in this remake, so the male social links are replaced with a series of events with said characters, which allow us to get to know them a little more. It is true that the story starts very slowly, but little by little it gains speed as the months go by. 10/10

Characters: The characters have not changed much since their original release, with the new events with the male characters we expand the history of some characters a little more. Each of the group members has their own personality, making each one interesting and different from the rest. 10/10

Gameplay: We found very big changes in terms of gameplay in Reload, the game takes the gameplay of Persona 5 and takes it a little more to the next level. Movement through the main dungeon is fluid, the mechanics of surprising the enemy are improved (Not as much as in 5) and each combat feels interesting. 10/10

Visuals: The game is beautiful in every aspect, making the change to Unreal Engine 5 has been very good for the title, and it shows in its quality of particles and fluid animations. The playable environments are beautiful and each character design has been polished and improved. 10/10

Music: The music department has done a great job in remastering existing songs as well as creating new ones, each old song has a new and refreshing touch. 9/10

Overall: The game is wonderful, but it obviously has its flaws, the most serious being the contribution of the villain group in the game, their interactions are good but when it comes to fighting with them it feels weak in some aspects. 9/10

Persona 3 Reload is a game that I recommend playing whether you are a fan of the saga or if you are new and want to enter a wonderful world we call Persona.

My first 2024 game. A wonderful "Souls-like", the combat is by far one of the best i have ever played, its fast, its punishing and its specially good. The story is not the best and it feels sometimes as a tool to just get the main character from point A to B, its still fine.

Boss and enemy designs are great, except ones that feel very bad to play against. The visual effects and the graphics are also great for a 2017 game.

Would recommend playing if you love hard and punishing games.
