an overall amazing experience and pretty unique metroidvania, the movement was so satisfying, learning to pull off tricks and tech like greavecancels made the game a real banger and felt like it had a lot of depth put into it. Although some might wanted a map, in my opinion exploring the Castle without a map adds a bit of magic to this game because it feels so rewarding to explore the areas of Castle Sansa like finding new abilities, health boosters, and telling its story through the dream world that you explore.

The amount of detail and level design this game went into is phenomenal, I really love the way the pixel sprites are animated in such a cartoony way and the way it maintains speed. The way they handled the gameplay really makes it a good wario land successor with a bit of sonic added to the mix for that extra speed you gain along with an interesting parry taunt system.

there's always time for fun, it's Friday night

THE S-BLADE HAS A HACKBLOOD CHARGE
but for real tho, this game was heckin awesome, the game was short but so well designed the environments were top notch, Zane was funny as hell, and it was so fun to find the secrets around every level. My favorite weapon would definitely be the Rapid Mutilator, I love its concept of being both a chainsaw and a gatling gun BUT I'm not done yet, this gatling gun also giving a little jump boost. the levels were so well designed especially the potato festival which had to be one of my favorites, a lot of the tracks were just awesome.

This was such an awesome and creepy game, its gimmick of going behind an enemy and just holding the attack button for long enough to see how brutal the kills would be is an interesting concept. The atmosphere, soundtrack, and factions are probably what makes this game so interesting. They nailed it with that slasher film feel. The story is edgy but interesting, the fact that you're forced to partake in a snuff film in order to earn your freedom is probably one of the darkest plots.
