Best use of the Otherworld and a pretty solid continuation of Silent Hill 1s plot. Also has my favorite side character in Vincent.

Has aged beautifully with the best version of the titular town. Also has my favorite finale with it being a great culmination of everything the games thrown at you.

Probably the most controversial placement but I loved my time with this one and what it decided to do with SH1. It could definitely use more interesting combat and isn't too scary but the more psychological approach and how the therapy sections change things up make this one of the most interesting entries in the series.

While I do think the story is the best no questions asked, SH2 also gets rid of a lot of things I liked from the original (which 3 would thankfully focus on more). The town is honestly pretty boring to go through and I found the other world also pretty dull.

The most ambitious post TS game but not a great time. I like the aesthetic and Murphy is a solid protag but the dogshit combat and boring exploration drag this one down.

While I enjoy The Room to a point, the complete nightmare of a second half makes things too infuriating to like the complete package. Did enjoy the finale but not to the same extent of any other Team Silent game.

Blandest entry but not a bad game by any means. The mirror mechanic is interesting but makes exploration a pain and the connections to SH1 feel forced at best. Also the start of the really bad monster designs that plague every post TS game.
