his undertale vid is funny because he goes over gameplay first and makes some understandable enough points that he personally found the game a bit too easy and didnt feel like sparing was too different from fighting
then the instant he talks about the story he goes full "They targeted gamers. Gamers" mode because it made levelling up a bad thing lmao

Ok he gets mad about how the game makes levelling morally wrong because "us gamers have lots of fun levelling up in rpgs". 99% sure he actually says "how dare you" in regards to undertale even doing anything with the concept
he also weirdly takes issue with how the pacifist ending is like a power of friendship moment, and says he'd want a game where the protagonist hates everyone because they always get in their way? The concept he's pitching really comes off like webcomic humor
it's a such a self absorbed take from someone who decided to make "gameplay over story" his creed when judging games (which is what most of the video gets structured around, he finds the gameplay middling and hates the story for the aforementioned reasons)

The only thing I really like about him is that he introduced a lot of westerners to Live A Live, otherwise I think his videos are really over-the-top and formulaic - no, I don't think that the Near Future chapter from Live A Live is one of the worst levels in any video game ever it's perfectly fine LMAO
