DNF - Too unfun, too buggy.

I expected this to be a novelty meme type game mostly for kids. It actually is a well fleshed out speedrunning type game.

Once you adopt a playstyle you like with a couple of upgrades that suit you well, its really quite enjoyable. The end boss is different and fun too. I had a really good time here.

Unfortunately it is still a bit inconsistent and buggy at times thoughm, which is why I can't score it higher.

Breath of fresh air.

This is like, half game, half interactive movie. The combat is good, and feels really intense because of something the game tells you early on about there being permadeath if you die too many times.

Its just such a unique experience in gaming and I feel like everybody should give it a go, even if it is over-acted and the story is a little bit hard to follow.

The best thing about this game is the binaural audio. Definitely play it with headphones.

A True masterpiece. The story is one of the best I have experienced in a videogame, ever.

The gameplay is great, and customizable. Too easy? Turn on a relic or two that make it harder. Too hard? Turn on the adventure mode relic.

Combat has a lock system which turns each battle into a mini puzzle game, if you want it to. (I recommend playing with the relic that makes enemies defence higher when they have an active lock, but vulnerable when you break it.) Theres also a timing system that adds even more interactivity to the combat. It was never dull.

Music and SFX were fantastic, and the Characters were just so likable. it's full of humour.. I can't stop gushing.

One of my favourite games ever.

A slow-paced discover the story game with fun flight. Aesthetically, it's beautiful, and I enjoyed it, but i used a guide to race through the content.

If you're a patient gamer, this is your game, if not, probably actually skip this one.

It still surprises me that I beat this game. I would repeat the same boss for hours on end trying to learn the patterns and best it.

Definitely a great personal achievement for me.

It was fun while it lasted, but I kind of plateu'd in skill once I got to around 2.5 stars. Playing on steam deck is hard too, I think I can't really progress anymore.

A Visual novel with more gamification than most and TONNES of agency. I have completed the main objective, but only scratched the surface of the stories they have hidden in this game.

Hope to go back to it eventually.

Visual puzzle game. It's easy enough once things click, but I actually had way more fun playing through after trying to mop up achievements or listening to the dev commentary.

100% must play for any puzzle game fan.

Short but visually stunning. Relaxed atmosphere. The story told here is nice and the free DLC tied it up in a neat little bow. Puzzles are nice but ultimately are separate from the storytelling and from the mid point on only serve to break immersion a little bit.

A Good game with a terribly slow introduction period. If you can make it through the first 3 levels, the fun factor really starts to pick up.

Collectables were pretty fun to get, the story was told wordlessly and while heartwarming and, at times, thought provoking... was not an interesting story at all.

It was quite cathartic hoovering up all the gunk. The story told was nice, the level design was good, and the game ramped up in difficulty for the third and final act.

Before that, it was too easy. No incentive to upgrade or use the upgrades you got, and when you got some of the later combat-specific ones, mostly all the combat parts were over.
One of the characters got a bit annoying too.

A Fantastic metroidvania with a lot of depth. A really great story, and lots of customization options for the way you play. Many side-quests and miscellaneous things to do will be sure to keep you entertained for hours.

As an art-creator tool, its pretty great. As a game, it's not amazing. I'm not good at art, and had a few hours of fun messing around with things, but ultimately I couldn't wait to put this game behind me.

If you ARE the creative type and like to spend an hour or two drawing/painting every now and then, definitely give this a shot.

If you're like me, it's probably better to avoid this one.
