I love games that sync up actions to music, so of course I had to give this a shot. Unfortunately very disappointed. In the slightly less than 2 hours I spent with it I found very little variety in weapons I was finding resulting in me using basically the same build every attempt. Game seemed really reliant on a parry mechanic that for the life of me I could not make consistently work. Custom music was okay but the editor was really sloppy. Felt insane you couldn't just tap to the beat of the song to set up the bpm quickly. Ended up refunding.

Tried this after enjoying Rabbit & Steel so much and I see where a lot of the dna of that game came from. This a cool little mix of a touhou bullet hell and a fighting game. It's pretty fun although I feel like there's some control issues I really dislike. I played a character that was really incentivized to spam a certain move but there was no option to simply hold the button to keep shooting it, instead I had to constantly tap the button. That sucks.

Aesthetically really cool. Nobody was playing online but I heard it has actual rollback which is sick. It's neat.

Mixed bag on this season. Some of the god mythics were pretty fun and loved playing with the air dashes in particular. The Avatar crossover event had some really unbalanced but fun items to use too. The Star Wars crossover was really mediocre though. The map barely changed and then didn't change at all again for the whole season which is pretty boring. XP rates were nerfed really bad and made me not bother actually even finishing the pass this time, and most of the BP skins honestly were bad. (Artemis looks cool though.)

If it weren't for how fun waterbending was during it's brief availability this would be a flat 2 1/2, but it gets the extra half star literally just for how fun bending was.
