Bio
Micks first gaming system was a Gameboy Color with Pokemon Gold. soon after he got a Gamecube and he was hooked on that thing.
A few years later teenager Mick found himself mostly playing COD, NFS and Fifa on the Xbox360.

Then a miracle happend, Mick discoverd Skyrim and it opened his eyes. From this point in history Mick is following and playing the newest releases.

Until the newest releases where not complete and needed patches and updates. Also he does not like digital only games, which is a trend occurring more and more often.

At the end of 2022 Mick the turtle found a time machine. Such a powerful device that must be used wisely, so he thought.

He wanted to experience the games from before, the great ones, the ones everyone else is talking about. So Mick took the time machine and went on a journey back to 1990, the year what he thinks is the start of the golden age of gaming.

From that day he is going trough all the great games from that era in chronological order.

Played it for the first time last year and want to play trough it again right now! It's so much fun fighting the almost too challenging bosses. But once you know each boss his weakness the game becomes a breeze, which is my only gripe i guess.

I'm trying to like this one but i just don't. The things i like are the music and presentation but the gameplay feels slow and unresponsive. It probably does not help that i suck at this game and i am playing on a PAL system, not sure. Just try it and see if you like it.

Fun to go back to from time to time, my favourite shooter on the SNES.

Soundtrack is fire and explosions are satisfying. it's fun to fully upgrade a weapon to find out what it is capable of but when i want to beat it i usually take the missiles.
