My first ever completed console game.

‘Life is Strange’ is a powerful story, told through gorgeous visual storytelling and well developed characters.
You can absolutely tell it’s a bit dated, but it adds to the charm for the most part.
The last two chapters ‘Dark Room’ and ‘Polarized’ had me quite emotional. It did indeed have its cringe moments, but it felt very authentic to the early 2010s.

‘Life is Strange’ gave me a good platform to figure out different commands on the joystick and the controls were easy, so great for a beginner like me.

Overall a heartbreaking experience that I will cherish.

i didn't find the overall narrative in this one as interesting as the other dlc, and with that slight lack of interest some of the mysteries were particularly challenging (i really struggled with the second case lol, this was the first time i actually used the hint system and even then i was drawing blanks for a bit of it), but when pieces really fell into place i ended up liking it anyway! i enjoy its direct connection to the start of the golden idol game, that was neat. overcomplicates that aspect of the original story, maybe, but i don't know, i like it

Replayed and got mr house ending after the fallout show dropped

Feels a bit too basic at the current moment, but oftentimes basic can be enough in this kind of game. At least I got it in a sale for $7. Personally, I’d recommend it if you’re a fan of casual fps games, otherwise in its current state I’d leave it.

“ You came out to put your memories behind you and they're still right there in front of you.”

This is my second time playing Firewatch and I can without a doubt promise you it will not be my last.

The story of a man so wrought with grief and despair that he ventures out into the secluded wilderness so he can try and forget what he’s tried to leave behind. While there he meets another lookout on his radio named Delilah and they get wrapped up in a strange and twisty mystery.

The stunning visuals only compliment the already perfect story and create an environment that is just as serene as it is haunting.

The gameplay elements are surprisingly great for something so simple as a walking simulator. It’s very straightforward, but how it’s implemented is great imo.

Overall, Firewatch is simply fantastic in every way possible. A beautifully animated intimate and introspective game filled with just as much mystery as heart. Definitely a high recommendation from me.

It's funny that when I played Sea of thieves a couple weeks ago, it was way too large (WHY IS IT 120 GIGABYTES) boring, lacking in content, the gameplay was abysmal, and the only redeeming quality is that it was on game pass so I didn't need to spend money on it.
And then this single dev game comes along and blows it out of the water. Most of the good parts of this have been talked to death already, but I will say that I'm hoping the full release/future updates include more moons, maybe some more mechanics or even some additional gamemodes.
Highly highly recommend, best multiplayer experience of 2023. (I didn't play it in 2023 but you get the idea)

Even though a lot of people write off the large amount of jank to short dev time, (which is fair enough) that doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. At the end of the day it’s still a Celeste game though.

INJECT THIS INTO MY VEINS

Fun game for an hour but the speed run goes hard
