Great if you're a fan of Homestar Runner. I imagine non-fans would be confused by a lot of the jokes. The puzzles also get a bit obtuse at times.

Baby's first adventure game. I last played this when I was a kid, so I don't feel like it's fair for me to give it a rating now. I do remember enjoying it, though.

I remember being captivated by this game as a kid. I probably wouldn't play it now, though.

I played this game when I was really young and was terrible at it. I've never heard anything that makes me want to give it another try.

This is one of the first video games I ever played. I played it with my dad and it was one of the main ways I got to spend time with him at that age. I remember it fondly, but I doubt I'd actually enjoy it nowadays.

I played one of these games a lot with my dad as a little kid. I'm assuming it was this one because the cover looks familiar. Good memories, but I'm sure if I tried playing this game now I either wouldn't like it or my enjoyment would be purely nostalgia.

I think this is the game in the series I played with my dad a lot as a little kid. It's hard to tell because they're all very similar to each other. I've got fond memories of this game, but I'm sure I wouldn't like it now.

2019

When I got this game, the Steam description claimed it was inspired by Ratchet And Clank. Frankly, I don't see it. I found this game aggressively mediocre and with writing that I found bad even by video game standards. There's a moral that comes at the end that I didn't feel had been set up by the previous story events AT ALL. But the hoverboarding is kind of neat, I guess.

I really like all the character customization stuff you can do, the soundtrack is great, the singleplayer story mode is fun, and the multiplayer is pretty good. The main "Turf War" multiplayer mode can get a bit repetitive, though, and the fun level of the "Salmon Run" multiplayer mode depends A LOT on how competent your teammates are. Still, I keep coming back.

Take everything I said in my Splatoon 3 review and copy-paste it here, because these two games are practically identical as far as my thoughts on them go.

It's fun, it has good music, and it has a surprisingly good story. If you like Splatoon games' singleplayer story modes, you'll probably like this.

I remember playing this game as a kid and thinking it was a decent time-waster. That's about it.

I remember playing this game as a kid and enjoying it. I think I might like it if I played it now, but I don't feel like seeing if that's the case.

I enjoyed the "World of Light" singleplayer mode, but I did not enjoy the online multiplayer. Why is the netcode so bad? Also, there's the whole problem that Smash Bros has always been a series of party games more than fighting games. Ultimate really does not feel like a game I'd want to play as anything but a party game.

It's not the best of the 2D Kirby games, but I enjoyed it. Kirby games are hard to make bad, in my experience.
