This game feels so surreal...
It's pretty awesome, gameplay is pretty addicting and this game is probably pretty funny story wise. I already see lots of fanservice and interactions between characters. I feel like I'm missing out on a lot. Too bad I don't know Japanese....
Also this game has a very weird roster??? Jean-9 is playable here for some weird reason as well as kamen rider aqua???? Weird shit

The story, artstyle and atmospehere are good but the sequel is better in literally EVERY aspect, while the first game gets very repetitive due to underwhelming side content. It's still saints row though, very fun anyway

Decided to rewrite this review since I've beat the game. Mad underrated actually. I like the action movie-like story and the gameplay. It's simple and short, but that's the beautiful thing. It's still fun and entertaining. REALLY like the mix of melee and shooting. But if you emulate it keep in mind that the game works only on opengl and and textures get corrupted when you play for long so when that happens you need to reboot the emulator. Otherwise the game works pretty smoothly

From what I've seen IW really fixed almost all my complaints about this game so I decided to finally step over my weird relationship with this game and to my surprise it's actually pretty fun. I got a bit used to the whole turn based gameplay and realised it's pretty fun. Still only 8/10 because this gameplay still isn't really my cup of tea and side content is pretty lackluster, but the story and characters here are one of the best in the series so it's good
Upd.
I just keep dying no matter what I do in chapter 6 dungeon because I don't have any healing items so I think it's better if i finish this game on youtube actually...

2009

Funniest game with bros. Cutscenes look like it's a gta sa machinima
Upd.
Got softlocked. I can't physically do that GAS GAS GGGGAS puzzle because I don't have any syringes and I just die before I can do anything

Best cliffhanger that never got payed off. Explains the city change in 3. It feels like there was another game between sr2 and 3 that we never saw. Dex's potential death could explain how saints devoured ultor in 3

Decided to replay it now when I fixed my ps3, holy shit it IS better than 3 actually. Kino
Upd. I beat the whole game without sound because techincal reasons but that couldn't distract me from how good it is

I really like character action games in general so this game gets bonus points anyway. Gets old after a while, but it's still a fun and interesting concept with a surprisingly deep lore. It really does seem like a demo. Works pretty good when you want to play something, but you don't want to play anything too deep

I don't know man, this one is fun anyway, it's not bad and pretty cool on the vita

The ending made me weirdly emotional for some reason, cried my eyes out. This game fills me up with a feeling of childlike wonder and the whole meta narrative just sticks. This game uses vita's full potential and I'm extremely happy that I played it. The soundtrack, the artstyle, it's just that good. I don't even know if this game needs a sequel. It tells a pretty complete story about stories, but I just want more

A bit too easy, but I have such a huge nostalgia regarding with this game that I can't force myself to give it less than a six...
There was this bowling alley where my dad constantly went to play, I wanted to spend more time with him but I couldn't play bowling, and one time he just gave me money and I just went to play arcade. This game was one of them, I was like very close to beating it, but dad decided to go home and I never finished it...
Until today
Time flied and I closed this little gestalt of mine, little Martin would be very proud

Haven't played the campaign, all I heard is that it's ass both from gameplay and narrative standpoint, but multiplayer, despite being not the best too, is still kinda fun??
That's like the only game on ps vita with EXTREMELY lively online, I find a game in less than a second. Controls are pretty meh but It's vita anyway. Will probably change the rating when I play the campaign

I suck at soccer so damn much, but this game is fun anyway. I don't know who proposed the idea of such a rough, dirty, aggressive presentation for Mario football game, but it works so damn well for some reason. It's like if Mario did Sonic Adventure
