It's honestly a pretty serviceable Lego game. I think there's enough about it that sets it apart from the other games and I think it's one of the better original stories in the series. It's honestly pretty funny to see how this is baked into the DCEU as well as classic comic interpretations of characters.
I was pretty nervous to play this game since I've never been much of a platform game fan. Obviously the high praise of this game set a high standard for me but it honestly didn't disappoint. I won't lie, I did use the rewind feature throughout the game but I feel as if the progression of difficulty paired really well with how my skills progressed.
I think what is so endearing about this game is how it combines challenging yet rewarding gameplay with it's colourful and funky monkey vibes. It all comes together to make an incredibly solid and enjoyable experience.
Also one of the best soundtracks of all time.

Uncharted 3 was a mixed bag for me. On one hand it's got some incredible set pieces and moments but on the other hand I found the game to be immensely frustrating. While the core of what made Uncharted 2 great is here but a lot of the design is painful. Enemies spawn far too randomly, and when you die so easily it causes for painful death loops. The story was surprisingly disjointed as well. Both of the previous games had great stories, but here I found myself confused more than invested. I'm glad that Uncharted 4 exists. It gives me hope that the series can end on a high note
