My scoring is as thus:
0.5 to 1 star - Don't recommend to anyone.
1 to 2.5 stars - Playable. Not for me.
3 stars - My baseline! 3 stars is what I consider a "good game".
3.5 to 4 stars - Great game! Will probably recommend it to fans of the genre.
4.5 stars - Amazing game! Probably replayed it a few times. Recommended, often even to people who don't like the genre.
5 stars - I consider this a masterpiece, genre defining, or of otherwise significant importance. Must play.

Flawed overworld, janky physics, questionable camera controls, cheesy dialogue...
Pretty good, do recommend.
While the overworld does leave a lot to be desired (you can bypass most of the gameplay by fishing for 30 minutes), the minibosses, boss fights, and cyberspace (traditional) gameplay are some of the most fun I've had in a 3D Sonic since Generations or SA2.
It's a heavily flawed game, but we knew that, it's Sonic the Hedgehog. Still worth playing if you're a fan of the series.
P.S. Do note that there's a LOT of back references to previous games thrown in. They're not plot integral but boy, I hope you played Sonic Unleashed, SA1, SA2, Colours, Boom...

This review is for the base game only - my trigger finger hurts too much to take the DLC on as well in one sitting!
Celeste is a well crafted platformer with lovely artwork, level design, and music. It's also got a story around "coming to terms with yourself", which I personally could take-or-leave, but it's well written and I certainly don't have any complaints about it.
As far as gameplay goes, there's not too much to say about it. It's mechanics are introduced slowly, and there's usually one gimmick per level, but aside from that the core gameplay doesn't change much as you advance - the distance between checkpoints just gets larger!
My only real complaint would be around the separation of the jump and dash controls - many a time throughout the 6 hour playthrough I found myself wondering why pressing the jump button multiple times didn't just automatically switch to dashing by default. Otherwise, no notes!
