Welp this is the first beat ‘‘em up I have ever completed.

Now I hate to admit it but I’m not a biggest biggest fan of the tmnt, I dont get me wrong i in someway do love tmnt from the movies I saw and growing with the 2012 show though they never really reached the love I have for the likes of marvel. (which by way capcom please make a new marvel beat ‘‘em up I will give you my whole wallet).

Still though I’m happy to say I absolutely adore this game. First off this game really is a love letter to all tmnt, there’s little Easter’s in the background of levels hell my favorite reference in the game is where you get to fight the two idiots from the second tmnt movie. Even if the controls are pretty simple, doesn’t make it not fun cause man fighting and beating the shit out of the foot clan troops is a absolute joy. And the music ohhhhhhhhh the fucking music, I know people praise Tee Lopes for Sonic Mania which I don’t blame them but come on you people are sleeping on the incredible soundtrack this game has, it might even be as good as Mania’s soundtrack.

If I had a few issues, even if the final bosses are fun the two Krang bosses kinda felt underwhelming and some bosses can be a a bit too basic but I wouldn’t say they’re bad, hell the final final boss really makes up for it and I’m gonna keep that a surprise cause ohhhh ma god.

But yeah I recommend this game to people who love beat ‘em ups or tmnt I’m so happy I finally got around to complete this game.

Also if you want to know my main, I main Ralph for the whole game but Cassie Jones might be my new main.

I want to say this is the definitive way to play this game but my issue with this version is the lack of multiplayer. It may not be a big issue to most people but to me the best part of playing Disney infinity is making a shitty world and fucking around with your friends playing as wacky Disney, Marvel and Star Wars characters. Maybe someone will mod multiplayer but we’ll see.

Also I tried to refund this game and steam reused, that’s nice.

I want to share a story of the first time I was ever disappointed in life.

It’s 2013 and little kid me was watching his favorite YouTubers play a game called Disney Infinity. I was a Pixar kid and seeing a game where you get to play as Pixar characters and also have them as toys blew my mind. Especially the fact that I get to play as my lord and savior Lighting McQueen. So I begged and begged by parents that I could get the game with the lighting McQueen pack as well. I guess because my parents saw that I was enjoying my 3DS they picked up the 3DS version and wrapped it for Christmas. It’s Christmas of 2013 we opened our presents and the one present that caught me by surprise is Disney Infinity for 3DS with the Lighting McQueen figure to add to it. I was thrilled and excited to finally play a game I have been dying to play since the first trailer, and when I poped in the game on my 3DS and started up the game. Never have I been disappointed more in my life than this very moment.

Still better than Marvel’s Avengers (2020).

Finally after leaving this game dusting for a while I finally finished it. And yes it is deserved of all the praise and is still one of the best LEGO games ever made, hell one of the best licensed games ever made. The game graphically still holds up with it capturing the sets of the movies so well, the gameplay is simple for anyone to get into and it of course it has the personally of classic LEGO from not just the cutscenes but also the small details in the levels. Though I will say some levels are better than others with a few being pretty bad (looking at you 1-5 and 6-3) but the highs really do outweigh the bullshit ones. Overall it’s a game I recommend to even people who aren’t in to Star Wars and I strongly recommend playing with a friend, it adds more fun to the experience so yeah.

Quite possibly the next best thing to a Rodland 2.

This game makes me so mad. It has an AMAZING soundtrack, the idea of a Sonic 2D platformer spin off fascinates me, it introduces new characters that don't give me cringe AND it was released at the peak of Sonic's popularity. HOW DARE THEY make the rest of the game literally unplayable? It seems like a joke but for each of the positive things there is a negative. It's mechanically flawed, the color palette is grueling, the level design is tedious, the lack of enemies makes the game just plain boring and it was released exclusively on the 32X like ??????. A shame :(

Bring them back Sega
PLEAAAAAAAAAAAASE

The 2nd half of Sonic 3 that elevates it to peak status. This is probably the best selection of Sonic levels you'll get in a 2D game until Mania released. This combined with Sonic 3 is nearly a masterpiece.

this game is one of those ones that I played as a kid and never forgot

"Stealth arcade game" sounds like a joke but Sega somehow made it work really well. The enemy selection is limited but the variety of different scenarios keeps the game fresh through its short runtime, and the artstyle is killer.
This game just fucks

Really solid game that blends stealth and a bit of action. The music is solid and I like the artstyle/character designs alot. I can imagine it being pretty darn fun with 2 players!

In my personal opinion, Sega's NFL 2K games are the best football gaming has to offer. Madden is more prevalent, but 2K is more easy-going arcade fun. Ironically enough, these games only exist because Sega had burned bridges so bad with the Saturn that they had none of EA's flagship sports titles on the Dreamcast, so they had to do it themselves. Thankfully they did, because these games are fun, and shoutout to whoever at Visual Concepts loved Randy Moss because Moss is on the cover of EVERY ONE OF THESE except 2K3. This company still makes the busted ass WWE games that everyone makes fun of, so that's a bummer, but these games are still good!

It has enough complexities while still maintaining a quick-footed pace. I still love the old blocky Dreamcast models and 2D sprite crowds, and the gigantic beefcake players are just fun as shit to barrel down the field with.

Only complaint is more due to the release window, as there aren't a ton of big name superstars to play with here. The golden age of football games, in my opinion, is the mid-2000s when you could play with Drew Brees, Philip Rivers, Calvin Johnson, Michael Vick, LT, and Reggie Bush. Good news is that 2K2 DOES have the best quarterback to ever play for the New England Patriots: Drew Bledsoe.
