Advance Wars: Dual Strike is a game I played for hundreds of hours as a kid, and it's one of my favorite games ever, but I never went back to play the first two games on GBA until now. The original Advance Wars is a little too easy on certain missions, the AI can be reckless and give you easy trades, the story is quite basic, and it lacks some balancing or QOL changes that I miss from DS, but it still has the charm that made me love Advance Wars DS so much. As a final note, what a huge glow-up Kanbei had lol, on DS he is a serious and menacing badass while here he's just a caricature of a dumb but likable general/dad.
