Has more bugs that the amazon rainforest. Story is all-over the place but at least it kinda all adds up. Gameplay is basic but glitchy as all hell. Camera controls are horrible. Too ambitious for it's own good. It's a real shame because this game had so much potential, but it desperately needed more time in the oven.

CTRL C + CTRL V

If you thought it couldn't get lower than Scarlet and Violet, you were wrong. My autistic brother could have done better than this in 2 days while asleep.

Seriously, £50/$60 FOR THIS?! If you think this is in any way acceptable, you're a terrible person.

Atrocious. A waste of time, money and braincells. Barely anything good about this game. Broken and bug-filled, genuinely disgusting looking, utterly abysmal design and the destruction of the Pokemon IP. For a company that makes over 2 Billion dollars EACH YEAR, this is pathetic. Shame on Gamefreak, shame on Nintendo, and if you bought this shame on you.

After playing Scarlet and Violet:
"Perhaps I treated you too harshly"

Genuinely loved this the first playthrough, but it gets a little boring on consecutive playthroughs. Still fun and unique, but also tedious and too hard/easy (there's rarely moments where the difficulty feels balanced, it's either quite challenging, incredibly difficult or piss easy).

Rare example of when popularity killed a game.

Played for around 100 mins and was just crawling through vents and shooting little rat dog enemies for about an hour straight. I just gave up and stopped playing, felt really repetitive and boring. Maybe the rest of the game is good but I can't bring myself to continue it.

It's Left 4 Dead 2, do I need to add anything else?

Still incredibly easy, but nice visuals and pokemon interaction. Yet another Kanto remake but I enjoyed my time with it.

Far too easy, completely uninteresting and really boring. At least they actually tried with this once, so credit for that. Unfortunately it didn't stick the landing, at least for me.

I feel very mixed about this. It's about as good as it is bad. The story, once again is a bit all over the place but at least you can get a sense of what's happening. There are a lot of "plot convenience" moments which got old very fast, but the visuals were stunning, the level design was interesting but confusing, and there were a lot of teleporting enemies in the first half of the game.

The second half of the game is where it gets a lot better. More scares, more lore, etc. I really liked the character interactions so it's a shame of how little there were. The monster design is really cool, similar to wendigos from Until Dawn, and the other world creatures were terrifying.

The puzzles really let me down though. Most were uninteresting and really confusing, several times I was stuck not knowing how to progress either because I didn't notice a small detail or I wasn't actually told what to do/where to go. Oh, and they gave you nowhere near enough lamp oil as it runs out so quickly. The matches burn too fast as well, so for a good portion of the game I was stumbling around in the dark, ESPECIALLY the beginning. Nowhere near enough matches. It was really bad.

The ending segment was really cool however, and my last few hours were probably my favourite. There is no real good ending, there's multiple and all are bittersweet. I chose the Iconoclast ending as I felt it was best overall.

If the story was more interesting and better paced, with better puzzles, this could have easily been 4/5 stars. Also I felt that Tasi talked a bit too much for my liking, and there were a lot of moments where I would be stopped or slowed to hear/see a flashback or drawing.

I hate AR games

I was forced to play this for Halloween. I'll admit, the first part of the game, although unfair and rage-inducing, was interesting and the atmosphere/visuals were really cool. After I beat that, the rest seemed stupid and annoying so I didn't bother with it.

Shite. Nonsensical story, boring gameplay, not scary at all and far too easy. There are like 3 "stealth" sections, if you can even call them that, and the pig enemies barely appear. The whole pig motif got old and annoying really fast. The only cool thing about this was that sections when you emerge onto the streets, but it was about 5 minutes long.

Not as good on a second playthrough. Still, the atmosphere is great but not that scary anymore, and I found myself dying more often.

Smaller, less interesting story and far easier but great visuals, soundtrack and environments. Still fun.
