I didn’t believe in the hype for this but my girlfriend grabbed this for us to play with and it blew my mind every ten minutes. The puzzles are great, the platforming rules, it’s beautiful to look at and to listen to. If you’re wondering about buying it just bite the bullet and do it, you won’t regret it.

By far my favorite entry in the series from a writing and gameplay loop perspective. Certain parts of the battle system aren't quite comparable to mainline SMT but it makes up for it with its myriad other systems that keep you invested. The writing is also peak SMT, an original premise, an engaging cast, and varied endings make it a must play

I look forward to the successful completion of your mission.

Gameplay wise this entry makes a number of improvements on IV's foundation for a much more interesting experience.

Story wise it's honestly not that much worse than IV. Some things are comparatively better and others are worse. It's still a fun time.

My demons are a bit different.

Amazing game, plenty of rough edges here and there but the core experience is awesome.

This game made me like shooters again

I wish I was good at this game

An excellent turn based roguelike that breaks away from the usual Slay the Spire copycats. The game has a simple setup with easy to grasp mechanics that require a lot of skill and thought to get the most out of. It’s a must play for anyone looking for a fresh take on a roguelike

The game's in a much better place than it was when it first started EA but it still has some incongruences that hold it back as a roguelike. Not a bad game but not a great one either.

Excellent roguelike that's got more charm than you'd think could fit in a game. It has rough edges in it's gameplay with a cluttered screen and some unclear systems but none of it matters considering how much fun everything is.

The game is just flat out unfun to play. I pushed through the desert city and temple hoping it would be the worst of it but it just never improves. Watch cutscenes online if you’re that desperate to see the story, it’s not worth it to try and play

The Pokemon game I’ve been waiting for since I was a child playing Sapphire. Performance issues are there but not gamebreaking in my experience. The game is the evolution in the formula people have been begging for for decades now.

The game is pure fun from start to finish, the combat is easy to learn and satisfying as hell to pull off. The game is vibrant and fun to watch in action and the writing is goofy enough to laugh along with the whole time, it’s like playing a Saturday morning cartoon

The game is carried by its strong visual and music presentation and an intriguing plot that asks you to look deeper for it. Gameplay wise it’s just kind of boring, boiling down to waiting for Turn() to charge and then hitting enemies with everything before trying awkwardly to avoid damage while it recharges. It’s not unbearable but I wouldn’t call it a lot of fun either.

Easily Supergiant’s best release. An excellent story that makes the quick but fun gameplay sections all the more tense as you fight for your friends’ freedom. Letting the story progress even if you lose matches is a great decision that heightens already great sections. You won’t find any game quite like this anywhere
