Some experiences can never be recreated

One of the greatest souls-like to date

Definitely in the top 3 hardest with the only competitors being Sekiro and BB. Combat is fantastic and leaves little to be desired. The most stand out part for me was the soundtrack. In particular the Vinyl CD's in the hotel. Someday, Why, Far East Princess and Divine Serice to name a few shlap. Aside from some balance issues game is a masterpiece and I can't wait for DLC or a sequel.

5/5
The game does so much right and good that it's hard to describe just how amazing the game is. I could write a super in-depth review but I wouldn't know when to stop and there would be a whole bunch of rambling. Playing through this game was like re-experiencing Dragon Age Origins for the first time. I don't know when we will get another high-quality CRPG like this but I'm contempt. The game is not perfect, but it is a masterpiece and a phenomenal work of art. I can't wait to see what Larian does next.

The only con to this game is the endings. Larian has never been strong with the last 15 minutes of their games and this is no different. Hopefully, with the next project, they can wrap things up better.

Wasn't worth the decade wait

Visions of Ashes of Creation

Just give us a proper super hero MMO already ffs

Yall just had to fuck up. Potential down the drain.

Very mediocre though there was potential. Do yourself a favor and don't buy this unless it's under $5.

This being my first Tales games I will say it was enjoyable. The best part is the combat which is far better than I was expecting. A lot of combos and a good variety of attacks with different playstyles for each character. For a JRPG it is definitely better than the norm. The story is alright, it's decent and nothing too crazy. Straightforward plot with decent world building. The two problems I had with the game is the ending and bigger enemies. Considering everything we knew beforehand, the ending is extremely optimistic and way too wholesome for my liking. Bigger enemies like in most games with big enemies are just immovable damage sponges that you either CC to death or play around. They aren't much of a threat, they are more threatening than the normal enemies but aren't difficult or unique. Overall though it's a solid JRPG I'll more than likely only remember the combat though.
