Happy late 5th birthday, I actually can’t believe it’s been that long..I remember everything about this game ever since it was announced..from the surprise trailer that dropped out of no where and the fact that I didn’t even know how to react because of just how happy and the fact that I simply didn’t believe that it’s real, to the trailers leading up to it and the hype building up slowly, to being so excited and so happy that it was well received 4 days before launch and finally until I bought it launch day then completed it in a single day only to find myself playing it after that first playthrough for countless hours till I have done every little thing that could be done in it. This game and this series as a whole is very special and means a lot to me ever since I was a kid playing DMC 4 and even through the 11 year wait for this one I still played. We are truly lucky that this game exists and that Dmc did come back and I hope that we don’t wait too long for something new ❤️

What an absolutely phenomenal game, I am just in awe of just how much is in this game given its short length and the fact that it’s made only by 80 people. A creative and new concept, fantastic and fluid combat, a good story even when it isn’t the focus, incredible enemy, boss and level design and an extremely unique creative vision that can be seen clearly in every single level especially the museum one. Extremely happy with my experience playing this game and can’t wait to dive into even more of it !

When I began this game I honestly thought that I was gonna drop it and I did leave it like a week or so, but then I decided to try and see what the appeal was, and to my surprise I found that there is a lot of fun to be had. I don’t think I’ve ever played a game with this style and quest design even before. The biggest positives of course goes to the wonderful monster and environment design, and how each monster acts in its own ecosystem and the way they interact with each other and how almost all of them save for one or two reskins were very unique and different from each other. My problem comes from the grindy aspect of the game which makes it sometimes become a bit repetitive in some cases, but I’m pretty sure many consider this as a positive so this may just be my opinion. Overall, glad that I gave it a shot
