Iconic music and visuals. Story is just ambiguous and sparse enough to keep the gameplay refreshing and unrelenting. The controls on mouse and keyboard make my brain hurt. Please listen when they say "twin stick shooter" its best with a controller

At times the story is moving beyond words, western done right through and through. One of the most polished games ever made.
Moment to moment gameplay can leave something to be desired, sometimes it feels like we're trapped in the same kind of world as GTA IV's from a decade earlier.

Dark, atmospheric, janky, and full of memorable characters that would only be further elevated by its sequel.

Story was a touch long winded, and some characters and jokes overstayed their welcomes from time to time. Sad that this game's online mode took over the world and has an eternal hold on rockstar's production teams.
