Loved everything about the game before the switch to the metroidvania style. After the switch, I still really enjoyed it, especially the 8/16 bit swapping, but the backtracking got just a bit too tedious in the end for me to give this a full 5 stars.

My favourite game as a kid, playing the remastered version is everything I could have hoped for. With its quality of life updates like the swift sail and the vastly improved triforce quest, this version is the definitive way to play the game.
