I loved this game as a child. So much, actually, that I created a dedicated internet shrine for it: https://petrapixel.neocities.org/shrines/ravensburger-kinderwelt

Super cute dinosaurs, but the rest of the graphics are weird and the controls are very janky. Gameplay is boring, and there are too many loading screens. As a huge dino fan, I regret buying this :(

I dreamed for so long of a sequel to Pokémon Snap, because I loved the idea of the game so much but unfortunately couldn't play it because I never had it physically, nor did the emulator work well. Playing it, I was fully ready to say that it's amazing but too short. It IS amazing, but it's not actually that short! After 20 hours of playing I played every stage at least once, which is a lot longer than I expected! The game itself, obviously, is super fun and the pokémon are adorable.

Some shrines are very annoying, and the ending is disappointing, but other than that pretty much a perfect open world game!

It feels great to finally finish all 200cc with three stars, but suddenly none of my friends enjoy playing with me anymore...

This game introduced me to Koi-Koi/Hanafuda, and now I am obsessed with that, so thank you!

A nice way to play Tetris for free on the switch.

I beat this thanks to Sally, my extremely over-powered Alakazam.

When I was really young my brother would sometimes let me fish or walk from one location to another (only following the path! never leaving the path!) and I felt like the coolest child ever. (Also, I remember falling asleep to the sounds of WoW battles from the next room every single day for years.)

Makes you feel really smart once you figure it out. Makes you feel really dumb once two years passed and you tried to pick up from where you left off.

The radio music defined my music taste from age 12 onward.

I remember playing this game before even knowing what the 'Internet' was. If any one game defined my earliest childhood, it was this one. And how fun it still is! Especially the first-person was revolutionary for my tiny little brain!
