replayed this to help get over a recent silly heartbreak and could barely stop sobbing through the last couple hours. this game is shallow, jank and extremely inconsistent… but also beautiful, deranged and ungodly raw. i think it’s time i stopped pretending it isn’t still one of my favourites. spm, like love, will constantly disappoint with surprisingly boring space and cloud levels and is basically overrated but fuck, when that memory theme hits and tippi reminds herself she still has hope after everything, would i not let it beat me to death one last time :’)

jk jk i mean the level design is pretty good but sometimes speech bubbles look like they’re coming out of the wrong places. 9/10

It's really not that good of a rhythm game but it oozes with charm.
works as a fun novelty nowadays but I really do wish I had grown up with it, just busting out a collection of CD at the time and trying to beat your score once in a while would have made for some incredible childhood memories

This is a game that feels like it ignores what would be considered the "correct" way to make a video game and yet still ends up being one of the most fun I've ever played.

Starts slow and a little uninteresting but it picks up
really solid game all around with an uncanny level of polish and care to almost every aspect of it

it's actually a good addition to Umineko and a wonderful send off onto what's next.
Last Note of the Golden Witch is appropriately titled, it's really Umineko's own Saikoroshi-hen and that's good.

one can only dream of getting breakfast

Insanely impressive, also maybe the funniest game ever made. There is no bigger assault to the senses then booting this game up for the first time, and it fucking rules. SHODAN is bordering the line on competent and clever, and truly pathetic throughout the entire journey across the space station which only adds to how funny it all is. If you can find it in yourself to get used to this graphing calculator ass game, its something you won't soon forget. Here's to the nice jumpers out there.
