I never grew up with this game but I'm happy I was able to play through it. I do have some gripes like Grunty's lair not being a good overworld, the flying controls, and some levels being outright annoying. But most levels were such a treat and of course the soundtrack is fantastic. I completely get it why this is highly regarded as one of the platformer greats.

This game is proof that good level design doesn't always make a game great or memorable.

Probably the weakest in the Spyro trilogy in my opinion but still a great entry. I love the additions they give after Spyro 1, especially the sound design. However most of the stages go from alright to meh at best. Plus I don't think the ost is that good compared to 1 and 3. I like the new addition of side quests but not all of them are super great.

Spyro controls have definitely improved compared to 1 and Ripto is my favorite boss fight in the trilogy.

Overall I have things I like and things I dislike, but overall I still think its still a great entry and I understand why people love this one.

A pretty big step down from the previous entry. It definitely is more of a co-op game than an individual adventure but that doesn't really excuse the big and empty maps with boring side games. My game crashed in the haunted world so I decided to drop it there. It still has plenty of Loony Toons charm which is a plus but yeah I don't plan on going back to this one anytime soon.

A surprisingly solid 3d platformer that has so much Loony Toons charm. The game can get weirdly cryptic at times and getting 100% gets you absolutely nothing but the level design and control is pretty good.
My favorite level being "Objects in the Mirror are Closer than They Appear"

Frogger may be back but my dad isn't

I don't want to hear your "nostalgia goggles" takes I got places to go, gotta FOLLOW MY RAINBOW

Yea yea nostalgia blah blah
This game fucking rules man. Great levels, fantastic soundtrack and a overall fun time
The animal friends are fun too and don't feel like they stray too much from the platforming.

Thank you for inventing Chiaki Nanami

This is where I personally see where Mario Party started perfecting its formula. Most of the maps are a great time, lots of fun minigames and by far the best item selection in the series with the addition of being able to use more than one.

The side duel mode is a lot of fun too! I'm glad that this will be released on switch sometime later because more people get to experience this game.

Doing the single player to unlock Waluigi Island is a bit tedious though.

The baby

I absolutely adore the look of this game.

I love the levels and ost in this game. My only major gripe is when Klonoa slides a bit after stopping which comes very annoying in the final world.

I'm happy I played this and got into Klonoa.

This is a great time but honestly I don't see it as "the best" in the series personally.
Has some fun mini games, but several are reused from Mario Party 1. Half the maps are great, but the other half are bad. Item were introduced but you can only carry one so there's hardly any room for strategizing.

Mario Party 2 is good but was still at that phase of trying to perfect the formula that Mario Party 3 achieved later on.

A fantastic and proper return to form for the Mario Party series (I really didn't see Super that way).

Really could use more and better maps though.
