i'd like to offer new super mario bros. and pac-man championship edition 2 to this list. they're some of my favorite games that i feel were tragically misunderstood.

oh, and lost levels

(I don't know if Backloggd notifies replies to comments but here I go.) I don't know if I feel comfortable ranking New Soup on here, I really like it but I think a 3.4 average is fine. As for Championship Edition 2 I just haven't played it myself, and this is just my personal list for games I love but everyone seems to think is just "alright" or maybe even worse. I do own CE2 on Steam though, and if I enjoy it a lot I'll definitely add it on here.

that's fair! i consider nsmb one of the best 2D mario games, but i recognize that's partly because of nostalgia and partly because i like smb1 a lot more than most people, and nsmb calls back to it a lot
