CtheIronblooded finished Honkai: Star Rail - Farewell, Penacony
Penacony is simply the peak of Star Rail's writing to this point, everything from 2.0 to 2.3 has been an unforgettable experience and it's going to take a lot to surpass Penacony's sheer creativity when it comes to level design and puzzles or its complex, thought-provoking plotlines and memorable cast of characters.

Firefly said it best. "Two murder cases, a showdown with the IPC's ambassadors, the legacy of the Nameless, and a remnant of the Order who wished to replace an Aeon-created paradise with a dream - you guys even ended up shattering the dream.... It's truly been quite the vacation."

"You see, everything is possible in this land of dreams. We each came here with our own goals, and realized them in unimaginable ways. Regardless of the result was a sweet illusion or a bitter reality, it was an answer we longed for day and night. So why do people choose to slumber? I think it's as you said... Because in the end, we will wake up from our dreams" - Firefly

"Even if the ending has been predetermined, that's fine. There are countless things that humans cannot change. But before that, on the road towards the end, there are still many things we can do. And because of this, the "end" will thus reveal a completely different meaning. This is the meaning of "journey". All those things, beautiful before, are still so now. And I believe...It will still bloom at the end of the Nihility, until we meet again beneath the sun's rays." - Raiden Bosenmori Mei

Farewell, Penacony we'll never forget you or the friends we made along the way. Farewell Firefly, Acheron, Aventurine, Gallagher, Mikhail, Black Swan, Robin, Dr. Ratio and even you Sunday and Sparkle.

"Time marches forward, heralding the arrival of a new chapter in the history of the Trailblazing expeditions"

CtheIronblooded commented on Aarooon's review of Tales of Arise
Speaking as a hardcore Tales fan, don't let Arise put you off of the series because it was a pretty big departure from the most of what the series is known for and it was originally developed to be a new IP, but they decided to put the Tales of brand on it because they new it would sell more. Berseria and Vesperia are both amazing games and much better, with more fleshed out characters and narratives than this game. IMO all this game has going for it is the graphical upgrade and fast paced and stylish combat. The combat in other Tales games was also more in-depth with more fighting game influence, whereas this one became more simplified.
