I went in almost completely blind to this game without knowing anything about it or about the series, and I didn't regret it, not the least bit!
The starting hour felt a bit long with all the cutscenes and explanations about the game mechanics; however, after that, it became clear to me why so many people love this franchise.
As I'm not really familiar with RTS or even strategy games, I didn't fully complete the post-game content, I feel like I've seen enough from Pikmin 4 as of now, however I'll surely revisit it one day again.

Amanda The Adventurer is by no means a bad game, but I think labeling it as a horror title was a wasted opportunity. I can promise you that if you aren't looking for a scary experience and don't mind having to use your brain a little bit, you will get a lot of entertainment out of this title.
On the other hand, if you're hoping to escape tired horror conventions, this isn’t the right game for you.
