This game was like a love-letter from SEGA to me.. I played the shit out of it, absolutely loved almost every aspect of it. But that doesnt mean it is perfect. I'd say the combat needs some polish, as in making it a little harder and more technical than it is right now, you can basically upgrade sonic to the point where none of your actions really matter, you can just throw out whatever and it will work AND deal a shit ton of damage. But still, I really enjoyed that SEGA finally tried to do something combat related in a Sonic game, I really hope they will develop this idea further in the next games. As for my final complaint - the islands could use some work, sometimes they feel quite empty, but I enjoyed blasting through them nonetheless.
