A significant upgrade while still remaining very faithful to the original game. The track editor is much more user friendly and the course levels are very unique. Basically the definitive way to experience this arcade style classic.

A fun wipeout clone. However, I didn't see any doritos during my playthrough.

One of the best Spider-Man stories to the day. The game had amazing combat and the best swing mechanics yet, I don't know what more you would want out of a spider-man game. The only reason this one doesnt get 5 stars for me is due to the MJ and Miles stealth sections. The fisk museum and Rhino ones were fine, but there's just a bunch of completely unneeded ones that slow the game to a screeching halt for no good reason. Besides that, this game was absolutely amazing and was a hard time not to enjoy.

Deserves 5 stars alone for completely revolutionizing the gaming scene when this took over. You can thank this title for crossplay, which is undeniable in its importance for multiplayer gaming. You can also commend Epic Games' dedication to having a strictly-cosmetic business system for this game. Those 2 things are extremely important to mention about this game. Other than that, we've got 3 modes to discuss for this one.

Battle Royale: A somewhat unique and whimsical take on the BR genre that was taking the gaming scene by storm at the time. The most important mechanic was the building feature, where you could build walls to protect yourself, or stairs to traverse terrain better. Nowadays, there's a build mode, and a non-build mode. Equally as much fun, but hard to review since its an ever-changing game. Every season, lootpools rotate and the map undergoes major changes. This game has had very high highs and some lows throughout the years. There's also been a fair share of events, which were extremely revolutionary for any game at the time, having an event that takes place in real-time that players could witness like it was a movie or something. This game constantly had something that felt like it took its audience by storm, and they continue to grab player interest and shake up their own scene every so often. This game has been going strong for over half a decade, and I don't see it stopping anytime soon.

Creative mode/UEFN
One of the most important things about this game for longevity concerns is the Creative mode. In simple terms, its a lot like Halo's Forge mode. Players can use pre-existing assets within the game and behavior modules to make their own game and such. It's very user friendly and people continue to make amazing things with the mode. Recently, they've released their own editor engine called UEFN, which is probably most compared to how games are crafted in Roblox. A lot more can be accomplished in this mode and editors are able to use external assets this time, and code parts of the game themselves. I am very eager to see how this editor continues to grow and there has been countless awesome experiences that have been made with this engine thus far.

Save the World
Fortnite's original mode. Save the World is a kind of tower defense/horde shooter mix-up that is very unique. You build your fort, and defend from waves of creatures from the Storm. It can get quite complex and creative throughout the campaign, but a bit repetitive. This mode is still supported with new seasonal events that offer unique modes and mission types very often. Overall, this mode can be very fun but is one of those things that you either play for countless hours, or come back to every once in a while. Player interest on this one varies quite a bit, and its understandable.

That about does it for my review of fortnite. Overall, I believe they've always brought something new to the table over the years and the game still continues to evolve into something greater. They never fail to grab my attention in some way almost every new season that comes out. I think I will continue to play this game for years to come yet.

Plays like a visual novel with jumpscares.

The best mario kart by far. Thanks to the new booster course, there is an insane amount of tracks and a decent amount of characters. One of the most important things to note is that you can now customize what items you want to play with, making it whatever racing experience you'd want. It has a great amount of side modes too, like balloon battle and the shine thief mode. Overall, this is the definitive way to play Mario Kart and a peak party experience.

One of the best remakes i've ever played. Fixes just about everything from the original and gives this game a whole new beautiful artstyle, almost liked this one more than minish cap. It's a short and charming experience with a very unique narrative for the zelda series. You can also fish in this one. Enough said.

a little less clunky WW2 shooter that had an overly long campaign, I didn't beat it because a lost patience. It was alright but I honestly don't know what I should say about this one

Clunky generic WW2 that did not age well.

Honestly, this one is extremely underwhelming, especially after MW2. The campaign was okay, I don't remember a single mission from it besides the ending and one of the character deaths, as most people do. You ask me to describe any mission from this one and I couldn't even give you an answer, this campaign entirely blended together in my head as one greyscale ww3 shooter campaign that I don't remember what even happened lol. The story beats were still good and a good ending to the MW trilogy, though. The multiplayer was okay but I remember it being the worst at the time and generally unfun with strange pacing. The most memorable thing for me was the spec ops survival mode, that's the only reason I clocked hours into this game. That mode was so much fun that it makes up for a lot of the game's downsides for me. Overall, a pretty mid offering for the MW trilogy.

Played this one for the graphics/engine revamp ngl. The campaign was good but it felt very generic for a modern shooter. You can tell how behind CoD is with this title because it had a lot of unique ideas to the franchise, but literally nothing new in terms of the fps genre. Took em like 15 games to figure out bullet drop physics, lol. The multiplayer was okay but very annoying and proves even more that infinity ward sucks at developing. Spawns never worked properly and it ruins the entire flow of the game. This title for me became synonymous with people running around with riot shields and dual pistols. The spec ops was rather cool with large scale missions, but survival was really easy and the only way I ever lost was by the game crashing. Overall, this game could get fun at times but it did tend to strike pretty mid at most points.

Campaign had a cool story going on but a lot of the missions were completely shit. There are a handful of memorable parts of this campaign but the most I remember is the gameplay being ass. Multiplayer also was terrible, some of the worst maps they ever made for CoD yet. It had cool modes and ideas but the gameplay yet again sucked. The only thing I liked about this game was extinction. Fighting aliens instead of zombies was cool as hell and the dlc maps for it were awesome. It was a great mode and a lot of fun for what it was. The only reason this one has 2 stars is because of the extinction mode. A truly crappy game.

Campaign is so awful that it'd be better if they just didn't have it. Multiplayer was pretty fun, actually. The 10 attachment system was so goofy and insane but it actually balanced the guns a lot and made almost all the weapons viable. It was actually alright. The zombies mode was fun for a little, I liked that they tried something different for the first map but when the next one came out it just fell to pieces. It was the exact same thing and it just straight up sucked. Overall, this game deserves the reputation it gets for being trash.

Biggest disappointment for me at the time. Multiplayer was wildly unbalanced, another title where 1 weapon class dominated the meta and became the only thing you can use. Zombies was remade with a new "class" system that felt like it was made for an extraction shooter. It translated very poorly and stripped a lot of the variation out of the mode. It's also a joke of difficulty and feels quite soulless to play. Overall, this game straight up sucked

Ironically enough, the best part of this game was the one that was judged insanely harshly before launch: the campaign. To be honest, I don't even remember what the narrative was but holy shit the campaign was some of the most fun you'll have in a cod title. It was so goofy with all the space age tech like black hole grenades and laser guns. There was also a lot of dogfighting missions, which were a ton of fun since it felt unique for CoD. On the other hand, the multiplayer was complete trash. It had good maps but the gunplay was just terrible and so unsatisfying. The zombies was really unique and each map had such individuality and character. Some of them weren't very good, but others were great experiences. Overall, this game was alright but I can understand why it didn't really appeal to a lot of players.
