I didn’t have the patience for this. Having to use a guide was really annoying. I messed up and didn’t have enough keys in dungeon 4 and I was not about to restart that whole thing after the little “mini-boss” whatever the fuck its name was. Thank god people were stupid enough to like this dogshit game back in 1986.

Short and sweet
I was kinda liking this, but then I ran out of interesting Youtube videos to play in the background and I saw this game for what it truly is. Monotonous “story” missions that are just fighting and fighting and fighting until the game ends only for you to unlock even more of them after that. This game wants so badly to be Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm. It’s kinda pathetic. Unlike those games, this game has cheap, bland looking cutscenes, and the only thing between fights are shots of the anime in comic strip format. I was just so tired of it by the end of the “story mode”. This one also has basically no replay-ability now when it comes to multiplayer because the second one exists and has a bigger roster. It also DIDN’T EVEN HAVE AN ENGLISH DUB. Which is lame as fuck because the only reason I bought this was to play with my little brother, and he will definitely enjoy it less since he doesn’t associate the characters with those voices.

I love most of this game a ton, but the last area is annoying with the constant backtracking. Other than that, this is a great game. It’s way better than Dark Moon. The tone is a perfect blend of goofy and creepy, and the gameplay is really addicting. The graphics also hold up really well. I love how dusty it is in this mansion.

The only thing wrong with this game is that there are other Mario games that are just a tad better. The level design in this game is excellent. It's so easy to just pick up and play for a few minutes and even easier to get sucked in and play for a few hours at a time. It's just oozing with fun. Easily one of the best games on the 3DS.
