Indie darling of 2021, Inscryption is a unique blend of TCG and escape room, with some fun ARG blended in for good measure. If you like finding extremely broken combos and not sleeping, this is a good game for you.

Like most AAA games I've played, the combat starts off extremely sluggish and uninteresting. However, unlike other AAA games, I don't think it evolves as much as it could have. The abilities are fun, but that doesn't change the fact that combat feels hollow. The narrative is just as rough, a mish-mash of SCP tropes in an uninteresting way. The sound and level design, however, are top notch.
