Received the PS4 version free thanks to a SEGA Forever giveaway, so ran through it again for the purpose of sponging trophies. Still a fun game, although finally World 10 gave me the run for my money I was expecting.

GOTY. PLEASE play if you have a PS5, by far the best game in the series due to how much it expands and improves. Gripping story, likeable new characters and gorgeous visuals combine to make an atmosphere that sucked me in.

Somehow never beaten this one. A fun puzzle platformer with some good challenges, but unfortunately "borrows" far too much from MSF1&2 to be anything more than a decent enough footnote in the series.

Hidden gem. An amazing but very short rhythm game with a banging OST and well appreciated custom soundtrack option to add replayability. At such a low price on PSN in comparison to the disc, I can't recommend it enough.

Beat the game last year on launch, but thought 5 years into having a PSN account it was high time to earn a platinum. As I'd already done a chunk of the work on Astro (and it being such a Sony tribute), I thought it would be fitting.

Still think this is a fantastic game that you owe it to yourself to play if you've got a PS5, especially since it's a freebie. The amount of love and dedication to the PlayStation brand and all its many obscurities pouring out from this game is so heartwarming. Such a great time.

Absolute GOAT. Going for a platinum and exploring the vast majority of what the game has to offer made me appreciate it so much more. MUST BUY for PS5 owners. The temptation to do the same in 2016 is strong...

Didn't quite finish it on Miku's birthday like intended, but still finished regardless. Only played a couple songs here and there before now, but finally completed it! Amazing game and tied with the OG for my favourite song list.

Since I knew this was a fairly simple platinum (in comparison to F2nd and ESPECIALLY in comparison to X), decided to do some clean up. Little grindy, but thankfully short and didn't make me pull my hair out like Forces did.

Screw the noise. Great game and a good remaster with some silly and disappointing bugs that I hope are addressed. Overall had a great time and would still recommend. Colours is a GOAT and with some work this will let the colours shine.

Having replayed it, definitely leaning towards being one of my favourites in the series. Fun and satisfying gameplay combined with a top notch soundtrack and the worthy addition of a true co-op mode seals the deal.

Very short but extremely sweet. Microgames are fun, the choice of characters makes for some wacky combos of abilities and tasks to complete, and the story got a good few laughs. Worth a shot for sure.

Overreliance on self-referential, 4th wall breaking humour got so grating by the 2nd fakeout ending that my willingness to put up with it when it got frustratingly hard vanished. Can see why people like it but not for me.

GOTY. Sorry Ratchet. What a phenominal ride. Takes everything that slaps about the 1st chapter, cranks it up to 1000 and adds a whole bunch of new kickass content. Never knew what was coming next. I implore you to play this ASAP.

Despite what sceptics say, still a fantastic game and a hell of a lot better content-wise than the Wii U version IMO. Had a ton of fun rekindling my nostalgia for this one, definitely still worth a play even with Ultimate superseding it.

Since there's sometimes some confusion as to what constitutes beating a Smash game, I unlocked all playable content here and beat Classic, true All-Star and Smash Run at least once. All playable content in this case means: all characters & stages, alternate rules and all Pokémon.
