decent melee take on Dead Space with problems with directing player movement and sometimes rather awkward combat. Satisfying, crunchy sounds and pretty visuals, runs very well on Steam Deck

There's only two reasons to really enjoy this game and they are held in place by a black corset.
Main character and his mother are as ugly as the story gets weird.

Beautiful style and idea, let down by some very confusing icons and some unclear mechanics

Whoever though these castle "puzzles", where you randomly have to choose a certain path to progress thorugh the levels was a good idea deserves a good kick in the shin. Brings down the game from 4 stars to 2.

Played the remastered version on Steam Deck, so I'm sure the N64 version has awful controls, as is tradition for console FPS at the time.
The short, concise mission structure makes this much more streamlined than the PC version, though it was overall very, very short (about 1.5-2 hours I reckon). Solid game, not great.

Buttery smooth and fun shooting, level design leaves a bit to be desired. Simple but propelling musical score

Playing this reminds me very much of playing To The Moon. It's a nice story (though much more mature-themed), but I constantly wondered why it is a game and not a short story in book format or a short film.
The gameplay is catastrophically sleep-inducing, detracting from the interesting plot and characters, looping around constantly looking for words where you've looked before dozens of times. It's just not fun and a shame, as the nice art style and very adult plot are dragged down by this.

Some confusing level design decisions aside, it was a fun romp with no holds barred and quite the postal experience

Way too easy puzzler with interesting art style but disappointingly shallow. One great, tense puzzle idea (you'll know which one), but other than that, not an intense experience, but rather a tame, lame one.

Like the original and fresh setting as well as the art style. Some of the puzzles were fun to figure out as well. However, the gameplay mechanics are a bit confusing and took a lot of time to get used to. Could have been better tutorialized.

Bucketloads of entertainment.

Combat feels very unsatisfying and clunky. Looks a bit too muddy so hard to make stuff out. Platforming was decent from what I played.

addictive gameplay, some questionable design decision regarding progression and secrets. Laughable voice acting, as was usual back then.

Didn't think it was funny and tried too hard to be. Puzzles are a mixed bag, difficulty very inconsistent, no real curve but rather a zig zag. Way too much filler content where you're just walking around and looking for the next "portalable" wall.

Considering it's a free mod it's got very good production value and some of the puzzles were indeed excellent. Were it a standalone, regular priced game I would not necessarily recommend it, but it was decent overall.

Very fun PSVR roguelike, addicting gameplay loop, refined bow shooting gameplay
