The game went downfall starting 2020, but it was such a fun game and I spent so much time on it. I really miss it..

It’s been a while since I’ve played a Dynasty Warriors game. The musou genre is one I haven’t fallen into but what I did fall into, was the JRPG Persona 5.
Strikers combines both the wonderful RPG power and the musou strength into one absolutely fun as hell video game.
For anyone who loves their Persona, this game is just more of those characters. More of that world and more of that same familiar feeling like you are spending time with friends all over again after so long.
I cannot recommend this game enough to anyone who has played Persona 5. It’s a strong sequel that though didn’t need to exist, absolutely deserves its spot there as a loving continuation of the story.
Though the combat may turn off fans of the original game. I assure you that it’s not just a Dynasty Warriors clone. It absolutely makes its own mark on the genre and feels more Persona than it does musou.
Want a road trip with a bunch of misfits? In need of some hack and slash combat with upbeat jazz in the background?
In need of who is best girl and best boy debates?
Persona 5: Strikers will have your heart.

I like hanging out with my Persona 5 gang and this is a mildly entertaining way of doing that.

É um jogo bom para passar o tempo mas não vai além disso. É uma aventura muito simples mas que flertar em ser algo a mais a todo momento sendo que o jogo nunca da esse passo mais ousado.

I am so unbelievably confused why this game didn't release after Royal. While nothing in this game contradicts what happens in Royal, the lack of characters like Sumi and Maruki make the cast feel incomplete. It's even more striking when you realize that a lot of these plot points, notably with Sophia and Kuon, are remarkably similar to Royal. What it makes up for it is the quality of the writing, and the incredibly fun dungeons (jails) and boss encounters. As far as Warrior-styled crossover games goes, this one is probably the most complete package.

played the main story and god bored.. the dlc was better

criminally underrated and a nice entry point into strategy based games

I was put off by the uncomfortably horny writing, but I think the bigger problem is that my brain is just too small to actually play the game itself. Maybe I'll give it another shot someday.

Mechanically the best game in the series, but the tone of the plot feels like an extreme overcorrection on 4's wacky sardine one-liners. There's definitely cool moments and I appreciate what it tries to do as a prequel though.

This is coming from someone who typically avoids the genre at all costs-- let alone touching a series known for the grinding-- but Disgaea 5 nails its gameplay loops and map design in a seemingly accidental perfect balance. The way you can assess each situation with any given party of characters is hardly comparable to much else, and all of the usual progression mechanics allow for "ways of getting there" to accommodate varying skill levels, rather than necessary time sinks. Overload abilities bring incredible nuance to every situation as you figure out how to apply them on the fly. All of these things come together in such a way that still makes it insanely accessible.
Disgaea 5's art style brings its HD hybrid animation to a peak with smooth transitions between attacks, and each ability doing very much with very little. Environments are fantastic but very readable and attacks are over the top and more insane than you could ever expect.
The game's greatest shortcoming is easily the story, something which used to be the highlight of the other Disgaea games, however it was still terse and effective for changing locales. Even that being said, characters don't ever become stale and always have their fun little moments.
Top this all off with my personal favorite soundtrack of the series, and you have a pretty exceptional game for the genre that is still accessible to even the fresher players.
