The story of the game is great. I've always been a fan of crime related media so this was right up my alley. All the characters are great especially the main cast and while I wasn't blown away by anything in the story, it was consistently very good. It was obvious to me that the Don and Tommy were going to fall out eventually but Paulie's death and Sam's betrayal came as genuine surprises. I also thought Tommy's conclusion and final message were executed very well and it was quite impactful. Gameplay wise you can definitely feel the age with it being very simplistic and janky at points but it isn't jarring or frustrating in any way. The variety in missions came as a surprise and I do appreciate it a lot. I very much look forward to whenever I play the second installment
